If it pains
If it pains then it means there’s a wound. There are some people who somehow autonomously carry the power to push every single one of our buttons without us ever having given them that right! And more often than not these people stay in close quarters such that we are forced to be around them and cannot cut them out despite our best wishes. While this may seem like a curse, if we sit with it long enough we’d realise that this is not by default but by very careful design!
Most times we think, if only “this person could stop behaving this way everything would be right in the world”! But rarely does it happen right ? That’s because we consider that we are at the effect of them and they are the cause. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.
The truth is – we are the cause and they are the effect. We awaken in another what we carry within, only with the purpose to wake up to it so that we can transcend and transform it and once we do, it feels like the same person who would make us want to pull our hair out, has had an epiphany and turned into someone we want to be around all the time or their cacophony simply stops having any effect on us.
What changed ? Definitely not them!
It was us!
So don’t be at the effect of the cause instead cause an effect!

7 Deadly Sins
You may have heard of the 7 Deadly Sins — Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth. They come from Christian teaching and were traditionally described as seven fundamental tendencies that can pull a person away from a virtuous life. But. What if we stopped seeing them simply as “sins” we need to avoid and instead saw them as seven very human tendencies that can teach us something about ourselves?
Because all of us experience them. None of these make us bad people. But becoming aware of them can show us where we are operating from attachment, fear, lack or unconsciousness.
So over the next 7 days, let’s look at each one — not with judgement, but with curiosity!
1/7: PRIDE: Pride looks like “I know better.”; “I don’t need help.”; “I already know this.”; “I was right.”; “Why should I apologise? They were wrong.”
The problem with pride is that it closes the door to learning. The moment we become convinced that we already know, we stop being able to see what life is trying to teach us. Humility isn’t thinking less of ourselves. Perhaps it is simply being open to the possibility that there is still something we don’t know. 🌻
2/7: GREED: Greed is the feeling of “I need more.” More money. More success. More attention. More followers. More recognition. More experiences. And there is nothing wrong with wanting more. But when more becomes the condition for feeling enough, we have a problem. Because no amount of having can fill a space that was created by feeling that we are not enough. Abundance begins when we can desire more while still being deeply grateful for what already is.
3/7: LUST: Lust is often understood only in the context of bodily pleasures. But at its core, it is the inability to sit with desire without immediately needing to satisfy it and hence applies to all other aspects of life too. “I want it.”; “I want it now.”; “I need to experience this.”; “I need this person to want me.”; “I need this person to like/appreciate me.” We confuse wanting something intensely with needing to act on the want. And that is where the spiritual practice lies:
Can we feel the desire without becoming its servant? Can we want something deeply and still remain whole without it? That little space between wanting and acting is where a lot of our power lives.
4/7: ENVY; Envy can be such an uncomfortable emotion because we don’t like admitting when someone else’s happiness makes us uncomfortable. Someone gets the job. Someone gets married. Someone publishes the book. Someone gets the life we thought would be ours. And somewhere inside comes that little: “Why them?” But what if envy is actually showing us something? It usually points towards something we deeply desire. Instead of judging ourselves for feeling it, we can ask:
“What is their life showing me that I want for myself?”
Envy can either make us resent another person’s light…or, help us discover where we want to create more light in our own life.
5/7: GLUTTONY: Gluttony isn’t simply eating too much. It is the tendency to keep consuming even after we have had enough. Food. Shopping. Entertainment. Social media. Work. Even people’s attention. We keep filling ourselves from the outside while something within us is asking to be felt. And the question isn’t: “How much can I consume?” but: “What am I actually hungry for?”
Because sometimes the stomach isn’t hungry. The heart is. The hunger is emotional that we try to fill with physical things. Eg. a lack of sweetness in life, could be mistaken for sugar cravings and might be tried to satiate with desserts
6/7: WRATH: Anger itself isn’t the problem. Anger is simply our inner alarm system saying: Something matters here. Something needs acknowledgement. The problem begins when we hand our anger the steering wheel. The message. The phone call. The words we cannot take back. The decision made in five minutes that affects the next five years. One of the greatest forms of self-mastery is learning to sit with anger without immediately acting from it. Feel it. Understand it. Let it move through you.
And then decide what actually needs to be done. Not every emotion needs an action attached to it.
7/7: SLOTH: Sloth looks like at first : “I’ll start tomorrow.”; “I’ll call them later.”; “I’ll work on it when I feel ready.”; “I’ll meditate when life settles down.” And slowly, becomes a lifestyle. But what must be kept in mind is – Rest is not sloth. Doing nothing sometimes is exactly what the body and mind need.
The question is:
Are we resting because we need to… or using resting as an avoidance tool because we are afraid to begin? The opposite of sloth isn’t constant productivity. It is simply willingness. The willingness to take the next small step, even when we don’t feel like it. 🌻

Get up, dress up, show up.
My mantra in life is — Get up, dress up, show up.
No matter how horrible I’m feeling, I make sure that I do what I promised I would do. And honestly, so many of my best moments have come on my worst days.
Days when I was feeling low, having a bad day, going crazy with anxiety about the future, or feeling like a complete failure.
During each of these bad moments, my first instinct was always to give up, abandon everything, and stop working on my goals and dreams.
I would think — is this really my life? is this how miserable I am always going to be? How do I bring inspiration to the world when I feel like a complete fraud myself? What goof are my talents even? And what is even the point of achieving what I want? how will I even achieve it when I’m this way?
And as life would have it, these would be the very days that I would coincidentally have a commitment that I couldn’t come out of. It would be something that I had dreamed of and was eagerly looking forward to.
I’ve had no option but to slap on a smile, fake the confidence, take stone-cold, boulder-heavy steps into a room, and force myself to get through it — that presentation, that webinar, that talk. Because cancelling wasn’t an option no matter how badly I wanted to.
I would tell myself, you do this, and after that I’ll let you lock yourself in a room and obliterate the world.
The start would feel heavy and forced. And I just couldn’t bring myself to be myself.
But somehow, as I went on, I would somehow start feeling fine… to the point of actually feeling good and smiling for real.
That’s the power of showing up.
That’s the power of keeping the promises you make to yourself.
That’s the power of discipline.
That’s the power of becoming the kind of person who keeps their word and honours their commitments.
On your good days, you fuel it.
And on your bad days, it fuels you.
After so many rounds of going through this experience, a bad day doesn’t become a showstopper for the things I have to do.
Now, I don’t wait to feel good to show up. I show up, because I know like each time, I will feel better.

Prayer has been portrayed as the Brahmastra, the last, ultimate and final trick to use when all else has failed. While that is one way to use prayer. But it isn’t the ONLY way. In fact Prayer should come first.
I used to always think that when we pray and ask the Creator to tell us what to do or show the way, it was on some level like giving away our power to something outside of us and that didn’t really feel so very great for me. On some level it felt like I was some hopeless, helpless person on the street begging someone to show me mercy and help me and tell me what to do, as if I’m not capable enough.
But I’ve come to realise that given that we’re inherently amnesic, and that our true itinerary for our trip down to earth is known only to that part of us that we forget once we’re here, there’s really nothing wrong in asking God/Universe/Higher Self for guidance on what’s next and what to do.
It’s like asking a trusted friend to go refer our files to check what we had planned and relay it back to us since we’re in a pinch at the moment because we can’t recall.
And what the best way to get a direct line to that trustee helper?
Prayer.
Bollywood has shown us what prayer looks like – the scared mother at the temple praying for her child who’s in the ICU and has only 0.0001% chance of survival. Prayer has been portrayed as the Brahmastra, the last, ultimate and final trick to use when all else has failed. While that is one way to use prayer. But it isn’t the ONLY way. In fact Prayer should come first.
If prayer actually is to get a direct line to the higher realms to help us refer to our own plans then shouldn’t it be used first? Before we actually do anything else? And if it’s simply a method to connect with a trusted advisor, does it have to be ceremonial, grand and a ritualistic 10 step process? No right? So prayer can be done anytime, anywhere, in any language and in any situation. Literally.
You could be on your commute sandwiched between 2 other ppl and still be praying.
How to do it? Everything is a miracle until it becomes a technology ~ Shreans Daga
Prayer seems like something cosmic and woo-woo right now because we can’t exactly see its mechanism with our naked eyes. But just like with electricity, we are aware of its power and use it regardless of whether we know where it comes from or not. We can trust that prayer is that same powerful thing too. The rule with prayer is that there are no rules.
A few general pointers for someone who hasn’t used it outside of temples:
-can be done anytime, anywhere, in any language and in any situation. Literally.
Eg. You could be on your commute sandwiched between 2 other ppl and still be praying.
-prayer isn’t about asking for problems to be taken away. It’s always about asking for the tools to handle the problems (you don’t have to know what to ask for, it could be: Universe/ Higher Self, pls help me navigate through this with ease. Please give me the right tools and guidance to work this out.)
Ask me more questions and doubts you have on this subject!✨

May they Rest In Peace
May they Rest In Peace
I don’t like this phrase. I really don’t. And I will tell you why. Read on.
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you read these 3 words – Rest In Peace?
I’m sure what came to mind was – the sneaky, the unexpected, the gift of Satan, the ultimate and the almighty – drumrolls please – Death.
Now let’s juxtapose both together – Rest In Peace. & Death.
How funny and ironic isn’t it?
From this we can gather that peace is possible only once we’re dead. That only once you are dead can you rest in and experience peace. By which time we’re not even there to experience it.
This puts forward SUCH a heavily grey and gloomy picture of the part that we do remember experiencing – which is Life.
And this is why I don’t like the phrase or the word R.I.P.
Doesn’t it make you feel like the part which is still ahead of you, before you set sail on Satan’s boat, is doomed before it has even happened?
I want to raise a petition today to change these words!
Why can’t we jump, walk, work, sleep, read, swim in peace? Why must we wait for death to be at peace? Why can’t we live at peace?
Many times life doesn’t feel like life, it feels like a landmine where you need to be careful where you walk lest you should explode.
I know, I’ve been there and keep going there from time to time.
While it does feel like this is normal and this is what life is – everyday filled with stress, anxiety and the fear of the unknown, I know and you too deep in your heart know that this isn’t life.
The question that then arises is – what can we do about it?
Just like Rome wasn’t built in a day, your life won’t turn around 180 degrees in a few hours, but it can turn around in a few days.
It begins with simple acts –
Moving your body. It can be any activity of your choosing.
They say stillness is for the mind that which movement is for the body. Stay still. Pick out 5mins if not 30/60 everyday to stay still. Make an attempt that for the next 5 minutes you will be still like a rock come what may. You will realise every emergency every twitch and itch of the body coming to mind in that very second but you must force, literally force your monkey mind to sit still.
Be kind. Don’t miss out any opportunity to be of service to someone in whatever capacity you can!
Love yourself. In the midst of everything we sometimes treat ourselves too harshly. Worse than how we would treat our most loved ones!
And just like that, one step, one change, one minute at a time, you will suddenly look around and realise that you’re in a whole new place.
Peace isn’t a destination.
It’s a way of life.
One that you need to choose consciously.

When things get overwhelming and when someone / something is trying to get under your skin
When things get overwhelming and when someone / something is trying to get under your skin:
1.Pause, breathe , do not respond immediately – stop the ferris wheel
2.Scan the body – where is the anxiety – body always knows where you’re at, it speaks before the mouth does
3.ask – am I about to say yes out of fear?; what do I actually want right now ?; If I trusted I wouldn’t be abandoned/ punished, what would I say / do?

Together the cognitive & visceral make it possible for us to literally become a whole new person and thus step into a whole new destiny!
Most of the things that disturb us in our current day (the ones that get us really worked up) are simply memories of the upsetting things we have experienced somewhere in our childhood or even in our past lives.
These memories don’t stay as images but viscerally in our physical bodies. That’s why certain words/ phrases get us deeply worked up – it’s because our brain and ears remember those words and produce the same stressful hormones in our bodies causing us to feel the exact same way we felt when it was said to us the very first time. So essentially each time we hear it, our body takes us right back to that first moment.
And so. In our healing journey while it is of utmost importance to understand things cognitively through knowledge it is equally important to embed that knowledge viscerally.
Cognitive = reading / gaining knowledge and insight / journaling – noticing patterns
Visceral = feeling / allowing expression / breathing thru/ not running away through distractions
Together the cognitive & visceral make it possible for us to literally become a whole new person and thus step into a whole new destiny!

There are 2 kinds of criticism –
There are 2 kinds of criticism –
–shameful which is vague, derogatory, very personal and highlights your weaknesses in fatal way, makes you weak, and never want to create again
–constructive which is kind, gentle, suggestive, concrete, empowering
The ones who make us feel like wanting to become invisible / hide / run away are usually the ones who are afraid of working on themselves and use criticism of our work as a medium to feel better about and give an excuse about why they’re not doing a single thing!
We are made to be exposed to such ppl only to learn to discern.
We cannot control when / how/ by whom we will receive criticism but absolutely can learn to differentiate between the what to and what not to allow under our skin.
There is one thing more expensive than time that every single being in your surrounding wants from you…
There is one thing more expensive than time that every single being in your surrounding wants from you: Your Attention
Reflection:
If we consider “our attention” like a resource like money then, today is only about evaluating whether you’re the master of where your attention is getting spent:
-Do you fall into a rabbit hole after looking at one post?
-Do you listen to and watch the whole ad even if you know the product is not for you?
-Do you engage in (even if silently as a fly on the wall) conversations you know are not useful/ harmful / poisonous?
Either we choose where to “pay attention” or someone else does it for us by “taking it” from us against our will.
Richest are those who have absolute control over where they put their attention because energy flows where attention goes and energy is the currency of the universe.

So, if you choose…
After many years of practising it in all different ways I’ve come to find a definition of Meditation myself too. Meditation is simply the act of connecting to and being in conversation to one’s inner/higher self.
So, if you choose,
-your office chair become your meditation cushion,
-the boardroom can become a temple,
-the glass of water can become your healing crystal and
-the act of cooking or making your morning coffee can become your prayer practise.
The only thing we need to do in each of these moments is to remind ourself that this situation right here where I am is simply an illusion, there’s nothing to gain or lose, nothing to worry about because I am the soul! The moment you feel the anxiety and stress fizzle away with this realisation – know that you’re meditating!

Your reminder that if something is bothering you big time then…
It is only when a life situation becomes absolutely unbearable and starts interrupting with our day to day do we start looking at it seriously and realise that the only way out is if we do something about it.
The solution is always a change within that leads to an action and thus change outside. And until the whisper turns into a storm we resort to ignoring it/ complaining about it. This is your reminder that if something is bothering you big time then:
-it is for your growth
-if not looked at today, it will get worse tomorrow until it brings you to your knees
-the solution is 100% a change of belief/ feeling within self – that is all you have to do today
So don’t wait for it to become a storm. Meditate, journal on it the moment it is a whisper!
Trust me, a life without worries is possible for you! And it’s possible right now!

When you think of asking for help on something, what is it that stops you?
a. I should be able to figure this out on my own.
b. I mean who even am I if I can’t do this myself?
c. I’ll be a failure if I ask someone and I’m not able to get this myself.
d. I don’t want to waste someone’s time. It’s better I just ask AI.
e. I don’t want to be a burden on anyone
For those that resonated with d-e: In my own healing journey working through my own pain, I’ve come to realise – healing rarely happens in silos. It can rarely be done all alone. The time you spend fixating, worrying and stuck in the shell thinking you don’t want to be an inconvenience is the time you spent being an empty cup that drains energy from others wherever you go! So what you’re trying to do by thinking you don’t want to cause trouble is exactly doing that – causing more trouble for you and hence for others ! Every second you spend with someone you’re actually wasting because you’re not bringing your best self to the table!
A happy relationship ALWAYS = 2 happy people. If you’re drained, you will never be able to come to any relationship in your life with grace and joy! So when you ask for help? You’re doing everyone around you a GREAT service because now instead of sucking energy, you’ll become a channel that radiates it!
For those that resonated with a-c: While it is great to try everything oneself before asking someone else there is a tipping point where not asking for help is causing more harm than good! The point where you’ve tried everything. Where you’ve hit a wall in every direction. Where you’re completely blank. That’s when you know that adding another mind to your situation is just going to make it better!
So, if there’s something that’s bothering you and it’s not figuring itself out? Ask for help! Asking for help is the most independent thing you can do! Why?
Because when “you” ask for help, “you’re the one” that’s choosing to help “yourself” by asking someone else!
Also when the help does come, “you’ll” be the one applying it and hence in essence “you’re helping yourself!”
Being vulnerable doesn’t reflect weakness. It reflects your courage to want to be better! It reflects grace, dignity and respect for oneself!
The greatest gift you can give somebody is your own personal development. I used to say, “If you will take care of me, I will take care of you.” “Now I say, I will take care of me for you, if you will take care of you for me.” ~Jim Rohn

Finally something you can do to help! (Psst. And. it costs Nothing!)
We see a lot of suffering around us that we feel completely powerless to change. World wars. Natural disasters. Families losing everything overnight. Children facing situations no child should ever have to face.
And while most of us genuinely care, we also know there isn’t much we can physically do. We cannot fly across the world to comfort every grieving family. We cannot personally rebuild every destroyed home. We cannot hold the hand of every frightened child.
So we read the news, feel sad for a few moments and move on. But what if I told you there is something meaningful you can do without moving an inch or spending a single rupee?
Bless.
Not casually. Not “I hope things work out.” Bless intentionally. The moment you hear difficult news, close your eyes and visualise the people involved as a miniature version. (Refer picture). Then silently say:
“May you be safe.
May you be protected.
May you find strength.
May help reach you.
May peace find its way to you.”
Feel white/ golden light entering your crown (the top of your head) and reaching the miniatures from your palms. If you do this regularly / are sensitive enough you will literally be able to feel this energy! Take 30 seconds. One minute if you can.
Whether you see blessing as prayer, intention, energy or simply an act of human compassion, it transforms us from passive observers into conscious contributors. And the beautiful part? The blessings we send out don’t just touch others. They change us too. A heart that blesses regularly becomes lighter, softer and more abundant. And somehow, blessings have a way of finding their way back home. 🌻
‼️ Important note:
Make sure to cut chords once the blessing is done to allow your energy to seal and not leak away. How to do it: simply in your mind imagine a string of light connecting you and the object/ person of blessing and cut it with an imaginary scissor saying CUT CUT CUT mentally.

Just 11mins to Reprogram yourself!
Things that hurt us / bother us don’t just stay in our minds , they get stored deep within our tissues, bones and muscles. The body does this to protect us – so that it can use the stored memory as reference to preempt the next time when the ‘mind’ senses danger so that our body can immediately fight/fly/freeze/ fawn. While that protection made sense at one time, it becomes counterproductive when we’re in environments that no longer need us to be on alert.
Breathwork is what then comes to the rescue to help us reprogram ourselves!

E = mc²
Came across this famous equation from physics — one that is often spoken about in the context of atomic energy and atomic bombs. It essentially says that even a tiny particle of matter contains an unimaginably huge amount of energy within it because energy = mass × (speed of light)². (The speed of light is approximately 300,000 km/s — and squaring that number is massive.)
And it suddenly made me think…
If so much energy is contained within even tiny forms of matter, imagine how much energy we as humans must be holding within ourselves constantly. If we are holding onto dense things in our inner world — grudges, resentment, anger, fear, old stories, emotional pain, even disease — then perhaps releasing them also frees enormous amounts of trapped energy within us. Energy that then becomes available for healing, creativity, joy, peace, love and new creation.
The amount of energy locked inside “heaviness” is actually FAR greater than we realise!

The way to make your habits stick
Did you know that you are 200% more likely to stick to a new habit if you pair it with an existing one?
This powerful technique, called habit stacking, helps you integrate new habits seamlessly into your daily routine by building on those you already have.
What is Habit Stacking?
Habit stacking is simple: take an established habit and pair it with a new one. By doing this, the routine you already follow serves as a trigger for your new habit. Over time, this makes the new behaviour automatic.
How to Habit Stack:
1. Identify an Existing Habit: Think of daily activities you already do—like brushing your teeth, drinking morning tea, or commuting to work.
2. Choose a New Habit: Decide on a small, actionable habit you want to build.
3. Pair Them Together: Use the existing habit as a cue to start the new one.
Examples of Habit Stacking:
🖇️ Lay out your workout clothes the night before so you’re motivated to exercise in the morning.
🖇️ Change into your workout clothes first thing after waking up – getting into your workout gear, removes half the laziness to skip it.
🖇️ Fill your water bottle soon as you reach the office and drink 2 glasses first thing so that you don’t end up forgetting to drink water later because you didn’t get the chance.
🖇️ Get on your feet each time you get a phone call.
🖇️ If you’ve picked up a book you’re not able to get to – pair it with a current block time you’re currently only physically and not mentally occupied in eg. your daily commute/ mealtimes,
🖇️ Podcasts/ Learning audios/Audiobook during your daily walk
🖇️ Listening to a short clip/ practising affirmations while brushing your teeth (can even tape nice messages on the mirror as a reminder!)
🖇️ Setting a reminder on your phone the moment a task is handed to you for a time you know you will be free so that you never ever forget to do it.
By stacking habits, you’ll be amazed at how effortlessly you can integrate new, positive changes into your life. It’s all about using what’s already working to your advantage. Just make sure to:
🔅Start Small: Don’t overwhelm yourself. Focus on simple habits that are easy to achieve.
🔅Be Consistent: Perform the stack daily to reinforce the habit. (set alarms/ reminders if you have to – eg. I set a reminder around my meal times to “pray before you eat” until it became automatic whenever I saw any food)
🔅Celebrate Wins: Acknowledge even small successes to build motivation.

Pain is my friend!
We go to the gym specifically to experience pain. We endure it with eyes and ears open knowing that this pain is only an indicator of our muscles breaking only to get stronger.
Very similar to that is the pain we experience in life often through people we love most because they are the only ones with enough power to do so.
However just like that pain at the gym which your future self thanks you for , this pain too is breaking down old walls that are fencing you in rather than keeping the bad out, expanding the limits you now know! So instead of running away from it, close your eyes, allow it to burn you and tell yourself “Pain is my friend. I know it’s tough but I will allow it to do its job! Pain is my friend!”
Pain is showing you that just when you thought couldn’t go on anymore, you did some more!

Why freedom is fun
Freedom is fun only when you’ve been oppressed before. Otherwise it’s bland and boring. We live in a world of opposites – one has to be experienced to literally be able to experience the other. One doesn’t exist without the other.
There’s no up without down, no light without darkness, no right without wrong.
So if you’re going through something tough right now, remember – the worse it is now, the better it’s going to be later! Think of this each time you’re feeling tortured beyond repair!

The Tether that helps you fly!
When a kite flies without a tether, it flies into uncharted skies but sooner or later is found torn on the corner of a dilapidated building. But when the same kite flies with its tether it can fly higher than high and still come back to base unscathed. A kite without a tether flies high once, one with a tether can do so again and again. 🪁
Same as the kite, when we have anchors in our daily life we can challenge ourselves and have enough energy to go into unknown territories.
These anchors are our daily practises and rituals. Things that we do on repeat that help keep us centred and calibrated so that we have enough space to do things we’ve never done.
Practises like:
🔅daily workout (to keep the body calibrated from all the stresses, physical strains of sitting in the same posture , standing too long, etc)
🔅meditation ( to calibrate the mind – we all know how far into apathy it is capable of going! This is especially needed to come back to sanity and realise it isn’t as bad as we were telling ourselves)
🔅other rituals like – morning journaling, prayer, 10am tea/coffee
These rituals create a home for our mind and soul so that each time we do go unhinged (that weeklong beach vacation with daily desserts and pinà coladas/ those dancing nights out!) we can come back to ourselves quicker than normal !

Resist to Attract!
Practising abstinence is one of the most spiritual things we can do. Not because the thing we are abstaining from is “bad” — but because it slowly breaks our attachment to it. When we want something very badly, we create the energy of needing. And neediness always comes from a place of lack.
We start believing:
“I need this person/job/thing to feel okay.”
Abstinence reminds us that even if the thing we want most is not around… we are still alive, we are still us and we are still whole. And there is something incredibly freeing about that realisation. Because true freedom is being able to enjoy something deeply without becoming dependent on it for our peace. The strange thing about life is that the harder we chase something, the farther it seems to run. Because this Universe works on energy.
And lack attracts more lack.
A lot of times when things come to us from desperation, they either don’t stay… or they come without peace and blessings attached to them. But when we practice abstinence from something, we slowly stop clinging to it.
We realise:
“If it comes, wonderful.
If it doesn’t, wonderful.”
And somehow that is the energy from which things start flowing toward us differently.
With more ease.
More peace.
More permanence.
Because things that come from wholeness feel very different from things that come from desperation. How do we practice abstinence?
In very simple ways. It could be:
☯ A month-long break from sweets or sugar.
☯ A 12-hour period without devices.
☯ A no-digital-screen day.
☯ A week-long break from the person we feel we need to speak to every single day.
And sometimes abstinence is emotional too.
☯ Not replying immediately to an angry message filled with accusations.
☯ Not sending the long paragraph we have mentally prepared.
☯ Not screaming at a teammate or househelp when things aren’t done right.
☯ Not speaking the moment our ego feels hurt.
Basically, not giving in and restraining anytime there is an urgency to do something. Because every time we resist an unhealthy urge, we strengthen our willpower a little more.
And people with strong willpower have a very powerful ability to shape their lives consciously instead of impulsively!

Your devotion has IMMENSE POWER
Did you know that Swami Haridas was a legendary saint and musician (the guru of the famous Tansen) who lived in the 16th century. He spent his life in the dense forests of Nidhivan, singing devotional songs that were so pure they compelled Lord Krishna and Radha to appear before him. This place is now the world renowned Nidhivan/ Madhuban in Vrindavan where Krishna has a Rasleela with all his gopis every night to this day?
Devotional Singing/ Bhajan is one of the most beautiful and purest ways to connect to the divine and be in alignment! Today take a 3min song, close your eyes, forget everything, softly sing along and see how it feels! Your devotion has IMMENSE POWER
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need a beautiful bhajan recco 🙂

Embrace the Pandemonium
That amazing feeling of reading a book / watching a movie for the first time ?
It’s amazing because you don’t know what’s going to happen next. No matter how good a story and no matter how many times you read/ watch it, the feeling of how it felt when you read/saw it the first time is unmatched. If we already knew where we’re going to end up in life, with whom, at what age and all the details, it wouldn’t be nearly as fun!
So the fact that more than half the things we’re about to experience have been kept in the dark has been done on purpose!

No Man is an island
I used to pride myself on always wanting to become a “self-made” independent woman until I realised no man is an island. Every self-made person has had 1000s of people have guided / helped them in one way or another! This just proves that we don’t have to do anything alone, because it’s impossible to do so!

The ONLY purpose of life
Our only purpose in life is the elevation of our consciousness by realising that we’re worthy simply because we exist – the more we elevate our consciousness- the more effortlessly every single one of our desires flows to us.
The purpose is never to achieve the goals – but to raise our consciousness in the process of achieving them! This is your reminder to stop connecting your worth with things you can do/have done. You are a divine agent relaying important information to the Creator simply by living and existing!

Have you ever wondered why you have the dreams and desires that you do?
They are not a random coincidence. They are the Universe’s way to know itself better through you.
All souls are agents for the universe to expand itself further.
So remember, if there’s something you want, then the Creator wants it for you too.
Which means you’re meant to have it. If it weren’t possible, you wouldn’t be able to dream it at all !

Little Acts of Kindness
Little acts of kindness are like seeds you randomly sow unknowingly while walking to your destination.
They feel effortless and insignificant. But just like any other seed, one day it grows into a big tree to give many fruits.
You held the lift for a stranger today? One day when you’re in an emergency, a stranger will hold the bus which you would otherwise have missed!
If you ever get the chance to do something for someone no matter how small, don’t hold back!
What goes around, comes around (many many times over)!🌟

Why are we here?
I recently had a conversation with someone I was telling them wouldn’t be amazing to live in a mountain city of Europe somewhere, have a wonderful work life balance – in the day you work and in the evenings watch the sun setting in the snow capped mountains with a warm cuppa in hand ?
They said yeah it would be amazing, but I’d never take it!
I said What!? Why!!
They said well because it would be too uncomfortably boring and quiet!
——
In the upper world which we experience when we are in awareness of our souls/ when we’re not in the body, there are no ‘challenges’/‘bad bosses’/ ‘abusive relatives’ etc – everything there is calm, filled with unconditional love, light, peace and the knowing of oneness.
It is only when we’re here in the 3D world that we experience all things ‘bad’, ‘uncertain’ and ‘scary’.
Why then would he choose to be here at all if this existence is but a far cry from peace ?
To learn and grow. That’s the only purpose and only possible through contrast.
On my toughest days when I feel so mad at the Universe, at God, at Myself for having to go thru this, I like to remind myself that I’m here to learn something and this is all nothing but an illusion to help me learn something !
Felt called to share this today, maybe TSKians needed that reminder today too!

Delay Divine Intervention
4th Dec. Kempegowda International Airport. Indigo Flight expected take-off time 915pm. The actual takeoff time ? 5th Dec, 1130am!
Yup! I was stranded at the airport for 14-something hours during the indigo fiasco which happened!
I learnt a really valuable lesson through this experience which was – Delay actually being a Divine Intervention!
We all create plans for our lives – the 5yr plan, the 10yr plan. Graduate at age X, marry at age Y, be a parent at age Z. We chart all the details and work accordingly. But life rarely agrees to our plans does it?
More often than not, our plans are all for naught.
We fail at school or end up finding out that the career we’ve picked is something we hate or end up being cheated by the one we planned to marry at the perfect age etc etc
The thing that hits us a lot alongside all of the practical, emotional, physical, logistical problems, pain and issues that come with these sudden turn of events is that it all creates a massive dent in our plans – we are now running behind the schedule we created !
This delay has the immense power to rock our boat like nothing else – because all our plans are like dominoes, one depends on the other.
I heard on a podcast that humans are very bad predictors of the future so, in the now, the delay we’re experiencing feels like doomsday but haven’t we all experienced that the worst things that happened to us actually turned out to be the best things that happened to us! But that was visible only in hindsight!
So the delay is actually divine intervention!
When my flight that night kept getting delayed with no actual hope in sight of when I’ll actually get home, I was somehow reminding myself that this is divine intervention- it isn’t problem, it’s protection.
And for the entire night – I kept enjoying the moment, listened to music, got going on my step-count goal, had good coffee, made and heard some very interesting conversations with strangers I’m never going to meet again!, people-watched a lot, fell asleep on the Starbucks sofa, drew a lot and created memories.
For the most part I held the state of its-all-for-a-good-reason!
After 14hrs (I admit a really tiring 14hrs) you know what happened ?
My dad who was travelling with me overheard that another indigo flight which had only two more seats left was taking off in a few mins! We rushed to have our flights switched and came home by afternoon the next day!
My actual flight ? It landed on 5th dec 1130pm at night!
I truly believe this attitude of mine was what got me that other flight that day and got me home early! Yes the 14hrs were very gruelling , but it could’ve been worse and instead of 14hr I would be stranded for 24hrs !
And another bonus? I was given a ₹10k benefit on my next flight!
While I myself still struggle to keep this attitude up all the time in other more challenging areas of life, as I write this I am too reminding myself that – the bigger the delay, the bigger the prize.
And. Even if the prize isn’t visible at the end of the delay, sometimes, the prize is that nothing happened ! We don’t and will never know what we just got saved from!
So if there’s something in your life that’s not going according to your plan, then please know that it’s going according to God’s plan!
So. Let Go, Let God!

Pain is Purification
Our true essence is pure light, joy and peace covered under layers of fears (known and unknown), beliefs and notions of separation.
When we go thru something tough that is excruciatingly painful and feels like there’s no way this could be good for us, the pain we feel in that very moment (this feeling of extreme hurt with no physical evidence as such, of wanting to run away and escape to find some relief) is actually a fire burning all those layers to help us be free from those shackles.
The best way to be in those moments?
Just feel the pain. Feel it fully. As much as you can. Don’t run away from it. Lean in to it.
I mean this very literally – allow yourself to fully express the pain, with tears/ physical movement/ sounds and screaming / scribbling on a paper/ whatever helps.
Absolutely resist the urge to numb it or distract yourself with social media/food/tv/work etc.
I won’t even pretend that this is easy and fun because it’s not and it is extremely tough.
But what I can assure and promise you is that it is temporary and it brings a LOT of relief and wisdom once it is out of your system.
Trust me, the person you’ve been wanting to become, the dreams that feel just out of reach under a long list of “I DONT KNOWs” is waiting on the other side!
I’ve personally experienced the benefits of doing this in my everyday moments and how my thoughts have changed.
Most of us are wired to always act in one of the below 4 types of reactive behaviours
🥷🏼Fight (anger and argumentative)
🏃🏽Flight (escapism, avoidance, ignorance)
🥶Freeze (numbness, blankness, inability to form responses or feel emotions)
🙏🏼Fawn (people pleasing, trying to impress ppl to not get hurt, sacrificing your needs to keep others happy, inability to have boundaries, lack of identity of self, inability express one’s needs or desires)
Our main goal for everything we do in any of the above states then is always either of 2 things
– Minimisation of pain
-Maximisation of pleasure
All of this is us reacting to something happening to us – and all of our reactive nature comes from a sense of lack.
Our ability to “respond” comes through when we’re able to transcend from chasing the above two states.
The way to transcend is – by stopping the chasing and just being. Being right where we are.
Something feels uncomfortable?
Someone said something horrible and it hurts?
Someone made a joke on you?
You hit your elbow while walking thru the door?
Stubbed your toe on the table edge?
Good. Don’t let the anger/pain/irritation out right that second.
Today,
Instead of trying to fix the discomfort in any situation/complaining about something that’s unfair, stay right there in it. Feel it. Fully. Give it the time it needs to churn itself.
And see what happens.
You’ve been reacting all your life, maybe it’s time to try the opposite?
P. S. :If you ever find it confusing/heavy you know there’s safe space where you can share!🤍

The “How” behind the Dream
We all have desires right? Things that we REALLY REALLY want in life. Something we we can’t seem to shake but don’t know how to get to. In this set, I’ll attempt to break down the “how” for you through an example of my own. It will be a bit of my story along with something for you to work on for yourself on your own desire. I hope this gets you one step closer to the fruition of your desire!
Locking in on the What ₹
I cannot forget the first time I stood in front of a crowd reciting a poem to my class. I must have been no more than seven or eight years old. My legs felt like blocks of ice, my ears burned with hot air and my mouth was dry like sand. I couldn’t get a single word out. My mind went completely blank. When I did manage to speak, the words came out mangled, mispronounced and mixed up. The shame of that moment stayed with me for a long time. And yet, strangely enough, something inside me still wanted to do it again. I didn’t fully understand why, but the desire to be able to stand in front of people and speak with confidence remained somewhere deep within me.
For you to work on:
Find out the exact desire you want. It needs to be something:
-you really want with all your heart,
-that doesn’t harm you or others I.e. your intentions must be pure
-it needs to be in as much detail as possible. Don’t worry about whether it exists or is possible or not. Just lock in on it. The clearer the better.
Xx N.A. ✨
Marry It
One day, I made a decision. I decided that I would stop holding myself back. From that day onwards, I promised myself that I would say yes to every opportunity to speak — whether the audience was three people or three hundred. Whether it was a major presentation or a small emcee role. Every single chance would simply be practice.
Over the years, opportunities began appearing in small and unexpected ways. Sometimes it was presenting a project in front of teachers. Sometimes speaking in a room with not more than five people. Sometimes hosting a small event. Eventually, it became emceeing programs and delivering keynote speeches in front of hundreds and many times even thousands of people. I took up each experience — big or small, comfortable or uncomfortable. Most of the time the topics I was asked to speak about were not even my favourite subjects. But I said yes anyway because my only goal was to keep facing my fear of standing in front of a crowd.
For you:
Keep the desire playing on your mind like background music. Be committed to it. This doesn’t mean concentrating less on your current task. It’s like having a detached attachment, very much similar to how you’re deeply committed to your family and would drop everything for them when they needed you yet you leave them behind every single day when you have to be at work. It doesn’t mean you aren’t committed to your family but it also doesn’t mean that you’re carrying them in your pocket 24×7 just because you love them.
All of this to say – say yes to your desire in your mind and heart such that when the opportunity knocks you’re going to be ready to leave everything that very second and jump.
Xx N.A. ✨
Doing the work
Interestingly, people would often come up to me afterwards and say I had done well, but I rarely believed them because in my mind, I was still the little girl fumbling through a poem. I then had two alternatives – either to give up or to keep facing my fears and embarrassments head on. I had considered giving up many many times especially in moments when I’d done a bad job.
But my desire to speak confidently in public was so intense and deep that facing it all felt like the lesser of two devils because every time I thought of giving up I’d realise that if I stop here then this is as far as I’m getting and I really wasn’t okay with that. So, I started working even harder. I would take the uncomfortable step of asking people to record my speeches and the even more uncomfortable deed of watching recordings of my own talks later and carefully observing where I could improve. It was painful and embarrassing at times, but it helped me fine-tune my presence, my pace and my delivery.
For you:
Keep your ears, mind and eyes open for opportunities. When we deeply desire something and are committed to working for it, the chances start showing up. Your job now is to take up each of these chances. They may not look like what you imagined but trust the process because life has a really really interesting and intentional way of taking the long winding path to what we want (always for our own benefit).
From today, promise yourself to say yes to every opportunity that shows up. It might not be directly related but it will definitely be preparing you for the actual prize.
Xx N.A. ✨
Looking in the mirror
A realisation slowly surfaced: my real fear was not the speaking bit. My real fear was being judged. Standing in front of people — especially those older or more experienced than me — triggered the fear that I might fail in front of them. Because of this, I often rushed through my words, speaking too quickly without pausing, simply trying to finish what I had memorised.
To deal with this fear, I created a small practice for myself with the realisation that no matter it is, we never have to do it alone and we can choose to have the most powerful force to be right there with us. Whenever I stepped on stage, I reminded myself that the Creator is more powerful than the most powerful person in this room. And so I would quietly make the Creator my partner for that moment by praying that I become a channel for the Creator’s energy — that whatever I speak on that stage serves the people listening and is of some use to them. This simple shift changed everything. Gradually, I learned to slow down. To pause. To take space. To make eye contact and allow my words to be absorbed. And so. I kept getting better and better. And even better still.
For you:
The universe instantly delivers the moment we ask for something. Always. Every single time. The only reason why it isn’t here yet is because our ability to hold and sustain the outcome of the desire isn’t there yet. You may want a big house but you’re not yet ready to bear the burden and the cost of its upkeep. You may want a business but you’re not ready to take the risks/face the surrounding issues of legal HR etc that come along with it. Hence now the most important thing is to face yourself and ask yourself “what is it that’s keeping me for having what I want ? After all I do want it so so badly right?”
Remember, it will get overwhelming at this point to face your own demons and hence it is extremely important that you know that you’re not meant to do this alone. It is paramount to have help around – people that you can talk to, ask for help from and cry to when nothing makes sense.
Most importantly to always keep in touch with your higher self (God/ Universe/ Creator/ Angels…) and constantly ask for strength and courage to ask the question and handle the answers.
Xx N.A. ✨
Becoming
In all of this, the biggest lesson I learned during this process was that I needed to be myself. I could admire other speakers and learn from their styles, but I could never truly copy them. My voice would only feel natural if it came from a place that was authentically mine. And this was a lesson that wasn’t limited to my public speaking endeavour. It was a life lesson.
I wasn’t a confident public speaker because I wasn’t a confident person. I learned that when you desire something you don’t just get that thing, you actually become the person who has the ability to hold it and sustain it. So I didn’t just become a confident public speaker. Through the whole process, I turned into a confident person. Whether I am on stage or sitting in a closed door discussion. So my deep desire for one thing led to not just the fruition of that singular item, it led to the metamorphosis of everything else too that allowed to me to bring myself to that final point of standing on stage. I worked on the way I stood, smiled, posed, dressed, walked, sat and so on.
For you:
If you want to run a company, you need to become a founder/CEO who is fearless, courageous and hardworking etc. If you want a partner you need to become a partner who is committed, ready and not confused about priorities. If you want the freedom to have desserts when you want, you need to become the person who can afford to have desserts by becoming fit.
Something that has really helped me is to study, observe, read about, listen to people that already have what I want and see how they did it. It helps to understand what are the qualities that are needed to be where I want to be and whether I have them yet or not.
Today,
-find out people who already have what you desire
-find their interviews/ biographies and study them, how they approached it, took decisions about it, how they handled the challenges and how they are sustaining it
-stay in touch with this material in some way eg. listening to their interview on your commute / reading a page from their biography / watching their biopic on your off days.
-when you get bored, switch to a different personality with the same desire
A really good test of whether your desire is true or not is whether the content above starts feeling mundane to you and you have to force yourself to listen/ watch. If your desire is really what your heart craves then each time you engage with the content your heart will be singing “YESS! This is exactly how I want my life to be” you will feel excited and electric!

Learning The art of not giving a f*ck
While there was a LOT of work and effort that went in from my end in me being able to reach this point. As I look back I realise that it became possible only because of the chances and opportunities that came to my doorstep. The people that came upto me with confidence and handed me the mic and a huge stage without a doubt, the ones that clapped so loud for me, the ones that appreciated my performance on the days I wanted to hide and was criticising it the most.
I was dreaming and preparing myself yes, but there was something that was sending the chances my way with equal force – the universal omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent force. There’s a Hindi saying “tumhare ek hath to Bhagwan ke das hath” (meaning, if you put your 1 hand in a task, the universe meets that bet with 10 more hands to support you). And so something very crucial here was that I was dreaming but without any force and fear of “what if….?”/ “how will I ever…?”. I just dreamt and put in every cent of what I could without worrying about how or when it will happen!
For you
And finally. The most important thing in all of this is – surrender. If you’ve been diligently working and constantly, genuinely trying with all your heart and soul and somehow still not working out? Then leave it be. In these times the lesson is to not want it so badly. It is to want it badly but to know that even if it doesn’t happen you’re going to be alright! When you’ve tried and failed to get to it The next thing to try is to wait and let it come to you. (Please do not confuse this with giving up or stop trying)
The only purpose of life at all times is the elevation of our consciousness by constantly living in the realisation that everything we desire is already within and there is nothing we need to feel better or complete. To learn to be independent of everything. Hence the moment we start “needing” something so badly that the very thought of not achieving/ having it gives us nightmare is when it starts eluding us even more because the purpose was always to make you realise that you actually don’t really need it!
It is when you come in the state where you still want your desire really really badly with every single cell of your body but are really very much happy in your current state I.e. you’re happy whether you have it or not. A state where you trust that there’s another force in the universe other than you that’s always conspiring in your favour. That’s when your object of desire will appear at your doorstep out of nowhere !
Xx N.A. ✨
In Summary
Today, I have come a long way from the frozen nerves of that first poem recital. I can now stand in front of a crowd with far more ease, awareness and presence. But as they say, every destination is really just another step in the journey. And so, I continue walking this path — still learning, refining and growing. I suspect that even fifty years from now, I will still be on this journey… perhaps just with a few more tricks up my sleeve!
For you:
My only prayer for anyone reading this right now is that if you have any desire that is stronger than your will to give up on it, then know that it is meant for you and through my story I want you to know that when you desire it, it will start coming but, it won’t come as the exact thing you desire, it will come in the form of circumstances which will turn you into the person who is ready to hold that desire with grace and wisdom.
Remember – what you desire, desires you!
So everything that you REALLY want is VERY MUCH a reality for you. All you have to do is bring yourself to the level of that reality.
So today, do anything but please DO NOT stop dreaming! Dream it with a sense of ease, lightness and put in what you can from your end and allow the universe to do the rest! 🌟

Boundaries
We’ve all heard boundaries are important. Boundaries are healthy. Yes they are but when it actually comes to practical application, how to know where exactly to draw a boundary? The people who find it toughest to draw a boundary are the ones who need to draw it the most. Actually the boundary is already in place the only thing is whether you’re honouring it or letting people walk over it.
How to know if your boundary is being violated?
The simple answer ?
Anger.
You feel anger when your boundary is crossed. Anger shows you where your limit lies.
The point where you feel you have to “tolerate” something is the point where you have to draw the line. The part where you rationalise someone else’s behaviour by telling yourself “I’m thinking too much” is the where you draw the line.
When someone’s staring into your phone and you start feeling that sense of discomfort, a sense of wanting to walk away. That’s your boundary being violated.
The doubt arises when we question our own instincts and think if I actually moved away now, they’ll feel bad, maybe I’m misunderstanding and whatnot. And each time we dismiss our intuition, we actually betray ourselves.
So, honour yourself like you would someone else. When your heart says no. Then it means no.
The guilt that shows up when you try to say no, isn’t a sign that you’re wrong. It’s a sign that you’re doing something new.
So keep going!
Xx N.A. ✨
Why boundaries are difficult to draw?
We find it difficult to draw boundaries because we’re not able to give ourselves the logical justification for doing so. We can’t find a justification because we were never taught to question things imposed on us. We were never taught how to make decisions. All these years we let other people tell us what to do which then morphed into always asking others what to do.
While this is doesn’t really show up as a child, when we become adults there does come a time when the decisions people make for us start turning out to be the wrong ones and start harming us in the worst ways possible even though we did exactly as told.
And we become the ones to be blamed for the mess and hear things like –
“well you’re no longer a child, why didn’t you do something if you weren’t okay with it?“
“This is your life! You’ve to decide!”
When now everyone asks and when we ask ourselves what we want, you know what happens? The answer is a BIG BOLD LOUD – “I DON’T KNOW!” And that is the worst place to be in!
We’re like a child all over again standing in the unknown, scared as hell of making a decision! And that’s why we avoid setting boundaries because if we did then we’d be alone and we’d have to ask ourselves what we want and we don’t actually know what we want.
What we want and our voice is buried somewhere very deep. So even though it is inside us it feels tough to find it.
Also, we’re scared of drawing boundaries because that would mean your relationships will change. Some may change for the worse and even fall away. But you know what? It is all okay!
Sometimes things need to be taken away from us to create space for better things to come in.
So don’t run away from the fear and pain, lean into it!
Xx. N. A. ✨
What our boundaries tell us
To avoid all of this discomfort we give in to the moment for that temporary gratification where we say –
“it’s okay, let me just work those extra hours”
“so what if they speak poorly to me”
“so what if they keep borrowing my things without returning them”
“so what if they went through my things without asking me”
“so what if they keep an eye on everything I do”
“so what if they give me their advice and opinion even when I don’t want it”
and so on….
But the thing is that the anger, the discomfort they’re signs from our internal GPS/our intuition picking up on signals we can’t see yet. Our energy has far more information and senses people/ places/ things far far before our mind does. Hence when someone/ something is unknowingly harming us (by crossing our boundaries) our intuition makes us feel angry / uncomfortable as a hint that we need to be alert and remember that our boundary may be getting crossed. It’s an attempt of our intuition to nudge us into asking ourselves what we want.
The important nuance in all of this is that there is never an issue with working extra hours or taking someone’s opinion as long as it is “our choice” and not something forced on us that we’re doing because someone wants us to. This is where boundaries come in because they help us to understand when it’s choice or force and also stop it when it’s forced.
Xx. N. A. ✨
How to draw boundaries
When we don’t have healthy boundaries, we end up becoming a human robot who has preferences and does things that others want and is essentially a sum total of the choices of everyone around them. While we can’t change our past, and can’t kill ourselves over not knowing what to do. What we can do is treat that place of not knowing as a starting point.
Boundaries are the perfect antidote. Where we’ve just been dancing on someone else’s music it’s time to stop letting other people walk over you. It happens in small very small actions where you –
☯️ don’t laugh at a joke that’s not funny to you
☯️ don’t laugh and go along on jokes people make about you in the name of joking
☯️ make sure that the restaurant you go to or the food you eat is equally your choice as much as it is others’
☯️ ask people to stop when you’re not okay
☯️ say no thank you instead of doing something just to make others happy
☯️ ask your own opinion before you ask theirs
☯️ walk out of places that drain you instead of staying just to honour a commitment
☯️ don’t eat that sugary snack or that drink just because they want you to.
All this might sound a bit extreme but this is how we build the muscle and open our intuition for when the time for big things come. It’s tough. It’s absolutely uncomfortable. It’s painful. It feels impossible on most days. There also comes a lot of guilt with each of these little changes we make and the instant urge to change it back to how it was.
But in those moments I like to ask myself – “am I ok with this and Is this how I want to continue to be ?” If not then, I need to keep on with it even if it makes me and the other person uncomfortable.
Trust me I know how strong the urge is to ask someone’s opinion just because I’m scared of asking myself and just because I want their stamp of approval. It’s so subtle that it’s almost impossible to note when I’m doing it and it’s so so strong that it feels like an addiction I can’t seem to shake.
So I know how extremely difficult it is and I am with each of you when you read this and feel super overwhelmed and uncomfortable thinking this is impossible.
But trust me it is very much possible.
And.
Trust me when it’s very necessary.
When we draw boundaries it creates space between others and ourselves allowing us to finally get a chance to ask what we want. The more we delay it, the tougher life becomes. For others and for us! So stop thinking “if” you want to do this and start thinking “when” you’re going to do it.
Xx. N. A. ✨
Boundaries aren’t just for you
If you don’t want to do boundaries for yourself because you want to keep everyone happy/ you don’t want any confrontations/ you don’t want to rock the boat. Then, do it for others. Just the way you’ve become used to letting others run your life, the ones running it have become used to doing it too.
In essence now,
They don’t even know that they’re crossing your boundaries.
They don’t even know that they’re making you dependent on them.
They don’t even know that they’re using their energy to run your life when they should be running their own.
When you draw boundaries, you don’t just take your power back, you also give their power back to them too.
So you’re doing this for them as much as you’re doing it for you.
You’re actually doing them a service.
Xx N.A. ✨
How to know if you’ve done it right?
Initially setting a boundary will make you angry too. Because with the boundary will come resistance from the outside and that resistance will make you angry at others for not listening and anger at yourself for ever wanting to do this.
But this is normal. Very normal and very much expected.
Consistent assertive repetitive enforcement of boundaries is what makes them stick.
When you’re able to say no calmly, clearly, without feeling disturbed and untouched by the other persons reaction is the day when you’ve become successful in setting your boundary.
Evolving and raising our consciousness is the most important purpose of life and that is achieved by finding out who we are which comes when we find out what we want. And what we want is discovered in the space that’s created when we draw a boundary between ourselves and others.
I know it’s really tough but I promise you it’s very much possible and gets easier with time and practise. I also promise that what lies on the other side is totally worth this pain. There’s immense freedom and confidence that lies in the clarity of knowing what we want in every situation.
I write this as a reminder to you and myself that I hope you will always have the courage to ask “what do I want?” and the courage to listen to the answer before asking others!
Here’s to your freedom and mine!

Meditation
Can someone tell me what we call a person who is dead ?
A body! We stop addressing someone as a person with a name the moment they are dead. We might say x person’s body but that’s it! We separate the body from the person! Which means that all of this outer appearance is just that. It’s external and it’s an illusion. It’s just a medium for what’s inside to do the things it wants to and experience the things it wants to.
You me, the guard at the door, every single human on this planet, every single one of the 8.5 bn of us are souls!
We’re made of light. And while we’re in this meat suit we forget this fact and we got lost in the materialities and start attaching overly with this (points to the body) and all the things it relates to.
It’s through meditation that one can connect to the person residing within the outer shell and only when one does make that connection does everything in life starts making sense and true peace and fulfilment follows.
If you haven’t started meditating yet, consider this your sign to start now!

Meditation isn’t the final performance
So many people give up on meditation because they feel like they’re not good at it and they’re never able to have those out of the world experiences everyone talks about and that when you have them then you’re an expert meditator and reached the pinnacle.
But what we actually don’t realise is that meditation isn’t the final stage but actually the place where we can “practise” how to be for the rest of the day. The actual performance stage is the rest of the day.
That’s why it’s called a ‘practise’.
Our human nature and our ego turns everything into a goal, a competition and in that we start treating the feeling-of-peace, the sitting-still, the thoughtless-state as the reason why we’re meditating.
The true reason we need to meditate isn’t to achieve peace or stillness but to undo all the conditioning and learned beliefs and meet our true selves so that when we’re in the middle of an argument when someone is triggering us and all we want to do is scream, react, prove them wrong and storm out we’re able to sit there unfazed knowing that this cannot harm us because we know who we really are. And then, peace and stillness becomes not the result but the by-product of our practise and not just something we experience while meditating!
Something I’ve heard a teacher I follow say many times and absolutely love!
True enlightenment doesn’t happen on the mat, it happens when you’re in the middle of an argument, feeling angry and about to react but pause and realise that you have the option to not do so and a choice to do it differently!

Hot Questions (FAQs)
These are a few hot questions everytime the topic of meditation is discussed.
How many times a week should one meditate ? When is a good time to meditate?
My counter question: How many times a week should one drink water and when is the right time to start and stop drinking water?
Seems super silly right ?
Exactly! Water is our life source – we have and will always need it. Period.
It’s the same with meditation.
Each time we meditate we connect to our life source and bring down essential life force (qi/ chi/prana) to sustain us and keep us functioning at the best of our abilities.
There’s no:
– right time
– right place
– right no. of days
– right amt of time
– right way
– right age
– right feeling
to meditate
Do you ever need right time/ place / way to connect with your family? No right ?
Then you don’t need an appt to connect with your source.
What matters is that you do it.
So. Do it! Just do it!

In Summary…
The number of times people have told me –
“But meditation doesn’t work for me!”
I ask, “Why?”
They say, “Because I feel more stressed after meditating than when I started and everything starts paining and itching!!”
To all those who have experienced the same – I hear you, I see you, I get you, and I’m with you.
Years ago when I started this practice, I had the exact same experience.
I would sit – all comfortable, play the sounds, be completely ready – I’d close my eyes… and every single thing I had no idea I was even thinking about would start playing – one after the other – almost like a bunch of obsessive, aggressive loan sharks pestering me to pay up!
And I kid you not – it was exhausting.
Not to mention it made me want to avoid the practice more and more.
The words peace and meditation stopped being used in the same sentence for me.
But lucky for me, I didn’t give up on it.
And now this is the analogy I give to people when they say this to me –
When you pour clean water through a dirty pipe, what’s the first thing that’s going to come out?
Dirt. Right! Same with meditation.
You’ve trained your mind to run a certain program over decades.
So when you finally sit down with it – it shows you what’s been going on.
What you experience during meditation isn’t new stress – it’s a trailer of how you’ve been living your life on auto-pilot. The pains you experience are signs that you’ve been ignoring for decades.
So, like anything else – this needs patience.
The trick is to observe, not attach, to what shows up – like watching a movie.
And with time, the clean water will start flowing…!

Lights, Colours, Magic!
There’s something about stained glass windows that stops me in my tracks every time. The way light filters through, turning simple rays into a colorful dance, always feels like a quiet moment of reassurance. It’s the one symbol that, in my mind, feels like the likeness of what heaven must look like.
For me, they hold a sense of sacredness and divinity—a reminder that beauty exists in the smallest things. Every time I see one, it feels like the universe saying, You’re seen. You’re loved.
We all have little things that bring us comfort, symbols that feel like they’re meant just for us.
Looking at them allows us a moment to pause, take a break and feel peace.
What’s yours?

Fickle is Fun!
I’ve started liking zucchinis!
For decades this is one vegetable I couldn’t stand in any dish and now all of a sudden it’s something I love adding to anything fun I cook!
I really don’t know how or why or what exactly this change is the result of, all I know is that this is true for me now.
It is true now and may not be true tomorrow again!
What I’m trying to say here is that every single human being is a collection of billions and trillions of energy particles which creates gazillion possibilities and impacts because of the experiences we have, the things we see, how we feel and the constant information we receive from the invisible connection we carry with the quantum field around us.
So in essence we are NEVER the same person in any single moment! We are changing every millisecond.
And if our entire self is constantly changing then it is very very natural that our preferences and choices will keep varying too!
So if one fine day you wake up and realise that you’ve suddenly started liking a different kind of music or a certain cultural genre is attracting you a lot but it’s not something you’ve ever tried before (movies, books, food etc) then please do not hold yourself back and just go with the flow.
When we change, the outside world does question us with surprise or shock but sometimes we block our own path too! We ourselves feel like there’s something wrong with us and we avoid trying this new thing — we have a habit of holding ourselves to our own image of who we think we are.
Most of the time we are not actually resisting the new thing… we are resisting letting go of the old version of ourselves.
So if yesterday black was your least favourite colour and today it’s your favourite, then grant yourself that privilege to move with it instead of questioning and pushing yourself to hate black even if you don’t anymore.
These changes in preferences we notice in ourselves are actually the universe’s way of making us shed our old selves and re-calibrating us with our new selves that is capable of holding our new destiny and things we desire!
The sky changes every day, the moon changes every two weeks, the seasons change every few months, trees change every year.
If nature can start over so many times then why can’t we reinvent ourselves every time we get the urge to?
This is especially true if you’re going through a transformation journey. Sometimes you suddenly realise that the pubs which were your go-to now make you feel irksome and somehow you feel excited to try bhajan concerts! Sometimes our change surprises us and we’re scared to let it happen because it would mean that the people who were with us so far might not want to go further.
But you know what?
Your friends either go through the inner transformation with you… or they drift out of your life. Some relationships dissolve. Others deepen. So if they’re meant to stay, they will. Otherwise they will be replaced by someone who brings you far greater fulfilment than you’ve ever experienced. When you start changing from within, it can sometimes feel like your world is shaking — like the walls around your life are caving in. Friendships shift, habits change, places that once felt exciting suddenly feel heavy.
That phase can feel lonely and confusing, but it is also one of the most honest phases of life. But that is not life falling apart. It is life rearranging itself to match who you are becoming. So stop forcing people or things to stay when they’re desperately trying to leave. When there is friction, sometimes the kindest thing you can do for everyone involved…is to let go
Not everything leaving your life is a loss. Sometimes it is simply life making space for what is more aligned with who you are becoming.
Everything you’ve ever lost in life will be replaced by something much better!

The people that push our buttons!
This teaching from one of my favourite Kabbalah teachers David Ghiyam has stayed with me constantly for the last few weeks and something I’ve kept coming back to in my most difficult moments:
Every soul we encounter was chosen before we were born. There are no accidents. The people who challenge us the most are not obstacles. They are carrying the keys to our transformation.
The person who irritates you the most is your greatest teacher. They are showing you exactly where your work is.

Why you feel Bored
The human race has been trained since inception to follow structure and discipline. We’re given timetables at school, taught rules, told to colour within the lines. At office we’re given in and out times, calendars, schedules and deadlines. We’re encouraged to xerox successful models.
This is absolutely essential no doubt. But for most of us what it slowly does is take out all the colour from life.
Everyone is doing the same things and being the same way. In essence there’s no creation happening anymore. There’s no room left for creativity.
But here’s the interesting part.
We are made in the image of God. And God is a creative force. Constantly creating.
So the moment we stop creating… we slowly start feeling what we commonly call “boring.”
The world’s most successful companies, models and people are successful because they are different. They allowed themselves to be creative. Creativity is the essence of us.
In every moment can we find a way to look at things absurdly, weirdly, insanely?
My favourite way is whenever I look at the trees or the sky I like to see what shapes they’re making. Or if I see a shadow or silhouette on a building I try to come up with a story for the character the shape is creating.
It is such a fun and engaging way for me to feel refreshed and reconnect with the spirit of possibilities.
I took these pictures on one of my walks and I immediately had a story on my mind! In the spirit of being creative and wanting all TSK-ians to activate this streak, can I please hear what you see in them?

Absolutely preposterous, unbelievable, impossible and unrealistic
I used to always look at fashion shows and watch the models walking around with a bucket on their neck or some weird train hanging from their backs and wonder…
What in the world is happening here?
And who the hell is going to wear this and where!?
Until one day I realised something.
That ramp walk is actually the ultimate playground for creativity.
Fashion shows are not meant to show what you will wear tomorrow. They are the place where designers allow themselves to go to the craziest heights with no limits or rules.
And that limitless version slowly waters down into what we eventually see as normal trends in stores.
That crazy dress you saw on the runway… is often the very first version of the dress or pants you’re wearing today.
The same thing happens in Formula 1.
Those cars are the playground of creativity for engineers. They experiment, push boundaries and try things that look impossible. And over time the functional versions of those ideas slowly find their way into the cars that enter mass production.
Which means the ordinary things we enjoy today only exist because someone somewhere first allowed themselves to create something completely unrealistic.
So if you’re working on something today, remember this:
The first version should be absolutely preposterous, unbelievable, impossible and unrealistic.
Because that’s exactly where the realistic version will come from. 🤍

Childhood Favourites for Calm & Peace!
You know why noisy places like discs, pubs and crowded cafés feel so good? Because the noise outside helps drown out the noise within.
Quietness feels awkward only because we’ve never really known what it’s like. The moment we sit in silence, the raw, real voice inside starts speaking-honest, uncomfortable, demanding attention. And outer noise feels like an easier escape.
That’s why it’s so important to find something in the middle-quiet but engaging. The stuff we loved as kids: puzzles, painting, Lego, cycling…
Re-engaging with childhood favourites has multiple benefits:
– They ease us into a meditative state-quieting the outer noise while letting the inner one become organised.
– They reconnect us with our inner child and true creative side.
– They bring novelty and freshness to life by opening a portal to the source of creation.
So here’s your gentle nudge: take out time from your Saturday night lives to sit down for a Sunday brunch with your inner child. The joy of creating something with your own hands is truly unparalleled!
P.S.: Sharing some of my favourite moments of taking time just for me to create something from scratch! Hope this inspires you to take time this week to do something creative too!

Express not Impress
Emotions are energy in motion. When not held, repressed or cooked inside they pass through the system like any other waste. Emotions demand expression.
The way to allow them to be released is through expression.
Safe expression. I.e. in the right place at the right time.
The boss was mean and rude for no reason and had unreal expectations from you? You felt unfairly extorted and thus angry. Of course you can’t blast him right then and there with a verse of ‘Who the heck do you think you are ?’ And so there goes that anger – not out but deep within. Somewhere in your bones muscles and tissues it gets stored and locked waiting for another episode of unfair extortion to be triggered.
It’s like a dormant volcano. You don’t know when it will erupt. You literally don’t know. Next time your best friend passes a jokingly mean remark you will be ready to shoot them point blank. Unwarrantedly extreme response to a small trigger.
That’s what happens when such repeated emotions get stored over a long period of time.
Like all storage in the world these days , cloud / hard disk / device it isn’t infinite. There does come a time when it gets overwhelmingly full and cannot contain anymore. When it just starts glitching your system anytime anywhere. Unexpected reactions, passive aggression, feeling uneasy and on the edge all the time for no reason.
Even worse when it starts creeping into organs and creates diseases. From the most common lifestyle ones to the most serious ones.
So surprising right ?
The way to protect oneself ? Not by avoiding these situations that trigger the emotion or by avoiding the emotion itself. But. By feeling them. And expressing them.
Just expressing with no resolution is half the solution.
There are various ways of expressing – crying, speaking your heart out to someone with no filter, working out/ going for a run.
While these are great ways that have their own place and help when the moment is too heavy, but for lasting effects and something that has been affecting chronically, I have seen that these solutions bring momentary relief but don’t bring lasting effects.
From personal experience I have found journaling to be a great solution. Writing things down – not in a structured way but just vomitting them out as they come to mind.
You’re allowed very poor handwriting and allowed to write your most unforgivable thoughts (it is allowed to be as ghastly as it feels in the moment eg. I really felt like pushing them off a building I’m so mad at them) yes go ahead and do it.
You will hesitate to do it the first time but just give yourself freedom and permission to express. If you’re thinking it, it needs to be written down.
Do it till nothing else comes on paper. Don’t stop until you feel empty no matter how badly your hand aches.
Once you’re done. I PROMISE YOU, you’re going to take a huge sigh of relief. Because until now these poisonous thoughts were simmering in your system and with no outlet they were just cooking and intensifying more and more.
But now you have done a great act of valour by giving it an outlet and now you will notice that those thoughts are just gone. Never to come to mind again!
Most of your relief comes from this simple act because this was prevention of emotions from storing into body.
No one has to read what you wrote and no one will. Because if you’re using a digital device you must erase what you just wrote (erase not delete the file) to disintegrate it into nothingness and if written on physical paper then to be torn and safely burnt or flushed (literally flushed. Anyone remember Jab We Met?)
Over a period of time with continuous written expression you will realise patterns and be able to reach the root of why this is happening in the first place.
Eg. being constantly criticised by others means you were constantly belittled as a child making you ‘believe’ that you’re not good enough and hence you subconsciously keep creating those situations where you’re made to feel less than.
I have noticed that with this practise I have been able to release a lot of thoughts that I now realise were absolutely silly but were like a really big deal in my head and now when the same situation does come up I do not get as ruffled up as I would earlier!

Creating Space
Everything we own/rent/occupy/use is an extension of us i.e. from our house to our devices. Each and everything. They maybe non-living but they are vessels that store the energy we give out.
This stored energy then creates our environment and that affects our current energy. It is thus extremely important to purge our environment of belongings from time to time.
🔅Surroundings filled and scattered with things: perpetually feeling rushed, confused, cluttered and in the state of not knowing what to do next
🔅Devices with storage blinking red and full: feeling of overwhelm and not in the place to take more
🔅Laptops with home screen filled with files and phones filled with notifications: always being in the state of never-ending to-do lists and never being able to manage/ prioritise tasks with a clear head
🔅Frayed wires, tattered notebooks with pages hanging out, cracked screens: feeling of being worn out, tired, drained and not ready to take anything new
🔅Old pictures/ memories from a time that is definitely now our past: the feeling of deadness and nothing to look forward to. Our past (good/bad) is the reason why we are who we are today so it’s great to keep a few reminders but filling up all the walls and drawers with those memories only means you’re not leaving any space for the future. So keep the best, and toss the rest 🙂
Our personal belongings and how it has been treated very much affects our personality and how we feel but also speaks volumes about who we are to the outside world wherever we stand.
So when our belongings are in a sorry state what we showcase to all future opportunities is that we are not able to care of our belongings so we’re definitely not ready to take responsibility for others.
What is even more interesting is that most of the things we hold on to are not actually being used. They are simply being stored. Old clothes, unread books, broken gadgets, screenshots, emails, random files, half-filled notebooks.
Why?
Because somewhere inside us lives the belief — “maybe someday I will need this.” But what we often fail to realise is that while these things sit there physically doing nothing, they are quietly occupying energetic space in our life.
Every unused object/unread msg or mail/ unopened box/messed up drawer becomes a small unfinished loop in the mind. And hundreds of these loops together create the constant background noise we live with.
Releasing things — whether physical objects or digital clutter — does something very subtle but powerful. It tells the mind and the universe one simple thing: I trust that when I need something, I will find or it will come.
And that shift from holding to trusting changes the quality of your energy immediately.
Suddenly there is space. Space in our room.
Space on our devices.
And most importantly — space in our mind.
Don’t wait for Diwali to get on to your cleaning spree, start small right now, with one drawer, one room, one space, just one folder, one app! I kid you not – the satisfaction and relief that comes from seeing something that’s organised that you know exactly where to look when you need something? – it is unmatched!🤍

Revelation of James Van Der Beek
James Van Der Beek was a renowned actor who very recently passed away just in Feb’26 just days after his 48th bday from cancer.
Because of his illness he couldn’t be present and fulfil responsibilities for his family/ career/ friends.
This situation would make anyone resent themselves for being able to do their part and in fact feeling like a burden. But James did the opposite of that.
On his bday just a few days before his passing he created this video where he shares that because of the illness he was stripped of all the responsibilities (father, husband, citizen) that gives anyone a reason to live and the feeling of being valuable. He In his moment of being that apparently worthless person sat with this question that if he’s not all or any of those things then who is he really?
“If I’m just a skinny weak guy alone in an apartment with cancer, who am I? I am… worthy of God’s love simply because I exist and if I’m worthy of gods love then shouldn’t I be worthy of my own love too?” ~ James V.D. Beek
So, Today and always please remember, you are valuable simply because you exist! If you weren’t valuable or worthy, you wouldn’t exist at all.

The Honest Truth about your Purpose in Life
Very many times we do things/set goals in life to keep ourselves occupied. We haggle and scramble left right and centre to keep ourselves relevant and wanted lest we must be rendered useless.
We feel like if we’re here on earth we must somehow contribute. This feel is absolutely essential and there’s nothing wrong with it.
What’s wrong though is that this feeling morphs into the need ‘justify’ our very existence. (Read that again)
That if we’re not doing anything worthwhile then we do not deserve to be here, to be loved, respected, appreciated and rewarded. The problem is that we begin to attach our worth to the things we achieve/acquire. What we forget (literally – as when we are born we purposely forget our true essence to allow us to play a character on earth) who we really are and what our actual purpose here on earth is.
The truth is – our singular and only purpose on this planet is to evolve by elevating our consciousness through the daily challenges / troubles we face here on this earth which is actually a spiritual gym!
When we truly treat every moment every circumstance with that awareness we are actually already executing our purpose for being and then all the other things – the perfect job, a passionate career, spreading joy to the world, raising money etc that we think is our purpose automatically falls in line, flows through us and become natural expressions of our joy and elevated consciousness rather than being something we have to struggle for!
Question to journal about today for all of us:
If every single person in the world hated me (literally hated me) would I still feel loveable/ able to love myself?
If I was contributing absolutely nothing in any way to the world would I still feel valuable/worthy/ deserving of good things?

Journalling
The foundation and also the result of going on the inner journey is understanding oneself better and journalling is one of the MOST effective ways of doing that. I was a non-believer of this modality for decades and until very recently I have been able to shake hands with this modality. This section will be all about taking pen to paper – sharing my experience with journalling, how I started it, how I do it and also leaving you with some tips and prompts on how you can start doing this for yourself as well!
My Tryst with Journalling
Despite being a writer, I never ever enjoyed writing things down with my hands! I would never practise writing exams before the actual day. And that’s why the idea of journaling NEVER made sense to me !
I’d hear people going gaga over it and saying how much it helped them and I remember trying out journaling for the first time when I was 10 or 11 but I just didn’t get it!
Oh and don’t even get me started on journaling prompts – those felt like an absolute sham to me!
But. I recently got into Shadow Work. Where I was given prompts to journal about! I was told that the only single way it will work is if I write it on a paper in my handwriting- old school style.
I always thought what’s the need for writing if I already know what I’m about to write and everything is already there in my head!
Or that’s what I thought !
So I forcefully started doing it…
At first I’d throw the pen and paper away in frustration feeling like it was a complete waste of time – no one was going to read it, I already know everything and it’s not helping me , instead it’s forcing me to relive my worst moments!
I was going to give up on it for the 15273746th time until I got the advice “you’re thinking too much, just write. Don’t think, just keep writing”.
Today I thank the stars that I took that advice!
I started carrying a journal with me and kept writing – every time something triggered me, everything I felt low, every time I felt angry.
I would just express as I would to a close friend and I would ask why I felt this and wrote about that and so on until I reached the root of that feeling.
The Benefits far outweigh the efforts!
I now finally realise what everyone had been taking about.
a. The things I felt were actually like poison brewing inside me and harming me. Writing it all down helped to bring that poison from inside me onto the paper – the funniest thing was that once I’d written it down I’d forget all about it!
b. When we think things in our head we’re only able to reach a particular point , whereas writing it down helps us to reach the end point of that train of thought.
c. Every situation we go through usually makes us feel conflicting feelings and that’s what makes us overwhelmed and frustrated! With writing we get to feel all our feelings fully from all angles and see each conflicting thought through to the end.
d. Most times the advice we’re looking for from our friend usually comes from within ourselves because it helps us to observe ourselves from a third person perspective and detach from the situation and ourselves.
The point of telling you all of this was so that you like me don’t spend years without having experienced the benefits that come with this beautiful exercise that costs nothing!
So start!
Start now!

A few tips to get you started
Here’s a few things that really helped me and I’ve shared them below hoping it helps you as well!
📝 The writing gear matters: Make journaling feel like something you look forward to – a diary you love, pages that feel good to write on, pen that feels like butter gliding on toast. Get a journal that feels nice to hold. Not too thick. Not too bulky. Something you can carry everywhere. Good writing gear makes it feel like an activity, not a chore.
📝 Can you go digital?: Yes. You can even choose to type it out on your notes app, write it down on your tablet with a stylus. Personally for me – I’ve tried it all and the things that been most effective for me has been pen to paper. I’ve also come across the science behind it which does mention that handwriting (with pen and paper) engages significantly more brain regions—specifically in motor control, visual, and cognitive processing areas—compared to typing, which is more repetitive and utilises fewer neural pathways
📝 Find a time — but don’t depend only on it: Allocate a time in your day that’s yours. Even 10–15 minutes. But also carry your journal and pen everywhere because thoughts don’t come scheduled. When something hits, write it right then instead of storing it.
📝 What to write? Whatever comes.: Treat it like talking to your best friend. You just keep gabbing. Jumping from one topic to another without segue. Angry one minute. Confused the next. Random memory from 2009. No structure needed.
📝 Write till you feel empty.: Don’t stop halfway. If you’re thinking it, write it. Let it be messy. Let it be dramatic. Let it be honest.
📝 What to do with the diary once it’s full?: You choose. If it holds pain you never want to revisit, shred the pages or burn them safely and release it once and for all. If you want, keep it as a time capsule and someday open it to see how far you’ve come. (If you’re intending on keeping your journals then make sure to write the date, day and time before each entry. One day you’ll read it and realise who you were in that exact moment!)

If I could say exactly what I wanted to say today…
Today’s journal prompt:
If I could say exactly what I wanted to say today (without consequences), what would I say?
Remember,
– there is no right or wrong here, so write as much as you want and write what you want
– there’s no one who will check / judge/ verify your answer so be honest and free
– just looking at the prompt and thinking the answer is not enough – make sure to write it down
– start writing the first thing that pops up in mind when you see the prompt, try not to think about the answer too much.
P.S.: What is a journal prompt?
It is simply a jumping off point to bring up things lying deep within our subconscious.
Feel free to please share in the group whatever came up for you/ if you felt stuck at any point! 🙂

So let’s begin?
Once I actually was convinced about Journalling, the first time I did sit down with a journal and pen I felt absolutely blank on what I should write. And to save you from that I will share below a few prompts to get you started:
What am I feeling right now — and what triggered it?
If I could say exactly what I wanted to say today (without consequences), what would I say?
What annoyed me more than it should have? Why?
What am I pretending doesn’t bother me?
What am I craving lately — attention, rest, appreciation, space?
Where in my body am I holding tension right now?
What am I avoiding thinking about?
If I wasn’t scared of being judged, what would I admit?
What did today make me realise about myself?
What pattern keeps repeating in my life?
And on days when you feel blank, just start with:
“Right now I don’t know what to write but…”
That sentence alone is enough to open the floodgates.
Don’t try to answer them neatly. Let one question lead to ten tangents. That’s usually where the real stuff is hiding.

In the Garden with God
A beautiful gazebo in a garden with a river flowing in the background.
Imagine yourself sitting next to God/Creator/Spirit Guide/Angel/Mother Nature / whatever form of higher power you believe in.
Imagine telling them about whatever you’re going through right now (a challenge, a health problem, struggling with a dream you want to make happen etc) honestly without filters how you’d tell a friend.
Visualise all of the above.
Now journal about this part –
Knowing that the one you’re talking to wants nothing but the best for you and they know the entire big picture, the past, future and present of everything you’re saying, what would that power be telling you about why you’re going through this and what you should do next?
Caution: please do not overthink this. Just go with whatever comes to mind
Feel free to please share in the group whatever came up for you/ if you felt stuck at any point! 🙂

If you were to describe yourself to a stranger without using any of your specific identifiers (eg name/ age / occupation/title etc), how would you do it ?
Answering this one question with honesty brings SO much freedom from all the things that tie us down. We don’t need to relinquish our title or things that create our identity, but our dependence on these titles to find our joy and sense of self evaporates !
Given that TSK hasn’t done any member introductions so far, I invite members to please answer this one on the group too! 🙂

In Summary…
I know you don’t have the time. I know it doesn’t seem like a good idea. I know it feels silly. I know your hands start paining when you write. I know you don’t like writing things down. I know you find it pointless because you already know what you’re about to write. I know you know all of these things. and they are all valid. I know.
But. I also know that you know that these are all excuses you’re giving yourself to avoid doing it! I know because I was giving these same excuses a few months ago!
So. I will repeat the advice that I got all those months ago – Don’t think. Just write.
You cannot overthink your way into making this easy. In fact, the more you think about it, the heavier it feels. The only way it becomes easy is by doing it — awkwardly, imperfectly, repeatedly.
And when you sit down to write, notice what immediately comes up. “What will people think if they see me writing?” “What if someone reads my diary?” It sounds like fear of others — but if you look closely, it’s your own judgement about yourself. You are the one deciding this is dramatic, unnecessary, too much.
That’s ego at work.
Ego is scared of the unknown. And journaling is unknown territory because it might reveal things you’ve been avoiding. So ego makes it look bigger than it is. It makes it look silly. Or risky. Or pointless. Because if it can convince you it’s difficult, you won’t do it. And if you don’t do it, nothing changes.
Ego’s job is to keep you safe. But it reads discomfort as danger. And it reads change as threat.
Journaling isn’t danger. It’s expansion.
And the only way to move past that resistance is not by debating it — but by picking up the pen anyway.

Work of Art or Work in Progress?
With the realisation that “there is no else here but you” comes the perspective that every person we encounter is only a mirror of ourselves.
While being on that journey what one usually encounters most is people who hurt us, give us pain and bring us to our knees.
So each time someone hurts us we get going with a microscopic glass in hand looking for what we need to change about us.
There’s always something to transform no doubt. But it doesn’t always have to be something we need to “fix”.
Sometimes the lesson is to finally accept and realise that “I am perfect the way I am, no matter what anyone says about me”.
Sometimes the lesson is to garner enough strength to remain unfazed by what is happening around.
Sometimes the test is to check whether we can remain unaffected and continue to hold peace.
So if you’ve been doing the inner work and there’s still some pain that keeps coming your way and you’ve done everything under the sun to make it better , maybe it’s time to change the perspective, instead of trying to change yourself?
Can we live with the realisation that we are a Work of Art while being a Work in Progress ?

Most of us are usually unconsciously living in the past or the future and acting from it.
Ironically though, “consciously approaching” the past (going to the root of our trauma, fears, phobias and reactions) or the future (taking actual steps – albeit tiny – to achieve our dreams, working on ourselves, honing our skills) feels tremendously heavy, painful and difficult doesn’t it ?
I now realise that we avoid looking the past or the future in the eye and actually sitting down across from them and instead choose to let them coexist is because we’re afraid of asking them what they want to tell us!
Because if we actually heard what they want to say, we might not have any other option but to do something about it! We’re afraid of what we might have to go through and we’re afraid of the pain we might have to relive.
But the most important thing that our fear doesn’t allow us to see is that there is something else on the other side.
There’s heaps of joy, courage, peace awaiting us if we were willing to just consider and accept that the pain we’re afraid to bear is trying to break us and take something from us. Yes. But.
It’s trying to break the vessel that’s too small to welcome the huge blessings that lie ahead and replace with a bigger vessel.
And.
It’s trying to take away all things that no longer serve us which are taking up space that should be filled with blessings!
Today no matter what you’re going through, remember – the bigger the pain, the bigger the blessings!

When the flower blossoms, the bees will come
We’ve all had that one needy and clingy friend or colleague who is always trying to brown-nose/love-bomb us and what’s the one thing we want to do when we see them walking up to us? “Look for the EXIT sign and run”. Right ?
This repulsion comes because our energy senses that they want to “take something from us” and our body subconsciously knows that we’re going to feel drained after that encounter. Whenever we approach something from the feeling of lack the result is never favourable. Why? Because favourable results always come from alignment with the divine and there exists no lack in the realm of the divine. So essentially when we are coming from lack, we are disconnected from the realm of the divine and no good ever comes from disconnection.
Humans were made in the image of the Creator and hence when we act like the Creator we create / encounter miracles everywhere we go!
An essential quality of the Creator is that the Creator has only abundance and thus is always in the mode of giving.
Before we enter any room especially networking events, can we take a moment at the entrance to reverse the conventional goal of making as many connections as possible to gain something and instead enter with the intention that today we are not here to take/ get something, we’re only here to give (our presence and energy through the channel of the divine)?
Instead of desperately approaching every high standing individual in the room and trying to make them remember can we stand with confidence and feel whole and then watch as everyone gets magnetised to us?
I heard this fantastic line few days ago, that sums everything up perfectly:
“You don’t have to go looking for the bees. When the flower blossoms, the bees will come”

When stuck between a rock and a hard place – choose…
Trust.
I’ve come to realise that in moments when even the next 5ft of the road ahead is not visible and I’m walking in complete darkness- almost as if walking with a blindfold there are only two options with us.
A. Think of all the worst possible outcomes and how life is completely doomed.
B. Choose to trust, have faith and be absolutely certain (Despite all contrary evidence) that this darkness is serving me somehow. I don’t know how but it is serving me.
Whatever the choice, we will still be in between the rock and the hard place. But. While choosing A changes nothing, choosing B makes standing in that tough spot a tiny bit easier! And truly feeling a bit lighter within is what makes the rock and the hard wall move further away to give us space.
So if we really see.. there are no options.. having faith is the only option!
Our toughest days actually teach us to believe in possibilities and things bigger than ourselves that we cannot really see with our eyes!

The Tapestry
Imagine a big huge tapestry, each thread is important to give the design depth and completeness.
Each of us humans are also really important aspects of the big tapestry of the universe which means that each and every one of us is unique because we are playing a different role in the tapestry and if we were to try and copy someone else, there would be no one to play our role!
Each of us is like a different window in a huge building – not one single view will be same as the other !
This is how we have been designed, and this is what we must honour because really we are the universe’s way to know itself. We are agents of the universe to explore new possibilities everyday!
So honour your kinks instead of flattening them out and love them because those are things that make you YOU!

Whenever you are triggered, what comes to you as a natural reaction is what is inside you. So if someone runs into you while walking and your reaction is anger, then anger is what’s inside you and the situation was simply a tool of the universe to activate it to bring to your awareness.
The key lies not in blaming ourselves for being angry but being compassionately curious to find the root of the anger. At the root will lie a belief which limits you and once that is healed, the same situation will elicit a different reaction from you and in fact will stop triggering you in the first place!
Your triggers are your most benevolent benefactors !

The root of all evil
Desire is the root of all evil is what we’ve all been taught for as long as we all remember. Every religious book also confirms it. But what we read and interpreted is only half of it and we missed the full message. Desire in itself is not bad, it’s actually good. Look at history behind you and every wonderful creation or invention we see/use was created out of a desire. So desire is actually good, it helps in the expansion of us and all of humankind. What makes desire a troublesome thing is “our attachment” to the desire. The feelings of insecurity anger jealousy that come with the “need” for your object of desire.
The state that you cannot exist and might die if that desire didn’t come to fruition.
So we must never drop our desires, but only drop the attachment to them!

It’s only You and The Universe
In this universe there is only you and the universe. So every person you meet is simply reflecting something that is inside you. A person who mistreats you is reflecting resentment and criticism you carry for your own self. A person who makes you laugh reflects the part of you that knows to take it easy. Can you notice people’s behaviour towards you today and see what it reflects about what you think & feel about yourself?
The key to transforming your relationship is thus to transform your relationship with you!

And before you know it, what you want will enter your life through the back door in a shape & form much grander than you could’ve ever dreamed for yourself and it will surprise you!

Jealousy
Haven’t we all atleast once in our lives, looked at someone doing something/ getting something/ being somewhere and thought something on the lines of:
“They don’t deserve it.”
“They’re just lucky.”
“I worked harder.”
“What a show-off.”
“He/She is not that good to be getting this”
If you just said ‘no’, you’re lying 🤥 🤪 These next few bytes we’ll be uncovering, discovering and rediscovering the concept of jealousy, where it comes from, what it means and what to do about it
How to know if you’re Jealous
Jealousy rarely feels like jealousy. Our ego always likes to be ‘righteous’ like we never do any wrong and when we feel jealous, it never clearly feels/ shows up like jealousy.
It shows up as judgement. It shows up as this absolutely uncomfortable feeling that we can’t shake no matter what we do and our self-righteous self tries to neutralise it by externalising it by thinking/saying things like:
“If I were there I would’ve done it way better than them“
“They’re really not doing justice to the power they have!“
“They’re too privileged”
– A tight smile.
– Silence instead of a compliment.
– Scrolling past quickly because staying would sting.
– Avoiding eye contact and just walking by.
– A feeling of heaviness and forcefulness.
These are all the common symptoms of the experience of *Jealousy* when celebrating someone’s win. Now before your discomfort makes you shut this msg off I want you to know:
We’ve all been there!
Jealousy isn’t bad!
You’re not bad for feeling jealous!
None of the feelings/emotions we ever experience are BAD. They’re only signals pointing to something. So For today:
Can we just notice and not suppress when we experience jealousy in our day/recall moments when we’ve experienced jealousy and take note of them if we can?
As we’ll explore in coming days, our jealousy carries *important keys* to understanding ourselves better and reaching the core of who we are!
Xx N.A. ✨
What really is Jealousy?
At its very core, it’s simply an emotion. And all emotions are signals trying to bring our attention to something that we’ve been avoiding and ignoring. So today we’ll redefine Jealousy. We’re going to change how we look at it.
Jealousy isn’t “negative” it’s just a signpost showing us what we really want in life. Jealousy highlights the qualities or possessions in others that we desire for ourself. Isn’t that just beautiful? Doesn’t that completely change the outlook towards jealousy and removes the dark charge we’ve been carrying around it?
If we stop making it about them and went inwards we’d realise that we don’t even need to shrink/feel diminished/ compare ourselves in the presence of someone we envy because all they’re doing is actually a service of holding a mirror of the possibilities our future has for us! In fact, the fact that we’re witnessing someone having/doing something we want is proof that we’re on the frequency of that thing because the law of attraction clearly states that you cannot experience something that you’re not on the frequency of!
So. Conclusion?
Jealousy is actually a symbol of what’s on the way for us!
So today, each time we find someone having/ doing something we want, and we start feeling the familiar symptoms of jealousy, can we stop and get off that sad train and start feeling inspired and excited instead?
And also ask ourselves whether it’s something that we truly want and if we’re willing to work towards getting it.
Xx N.A. ✨
Where does Jealousy come from?
We’ve come centuries ahead from hunter-gatherer days and yet that survival instinct lives deep within us even today. Everything that enrages us and makes us feel uncomfortable deep down connects to the threat to our ability to survive and sustain.
So at the root of all jealousy lies one thing: Scarcity
That if someone gets something you wanted then it means that now there’s less of it left for you and in fact it was taken from your portion. That there isn’t enough to go around.
But this is farther from the truth.
There’s no lack. Of anything, anyplace. Whatsoever. All there is, is ABUNDANCE. Only abundance. Even lack actually is an abundance of lack, right? Just like when we say we’re not confident about something we’re actually saying that we’re confident about being not-confident.
Still not convinced?
Let me prove it to you.
Close your eyes and think about a healthy tree near you. Can you count its leaves? Multiply that number by all the trees in the world.
Can you count the grains of sand on a beach or the drops of water in the ocean?
Is the math baffling you already ?😀
So you see we’re sitting in the lap of abundance!
When I first came upon this realisation it took me a long time to let it sink in and feel comfortable with it and I’m sure that’s how you might be feeling too! I understand, respect and honour that!
So today instead of overloading you with more proof and information I invite you to sit with this and see how it feels to realise that there is NO SCARCITY whatsoever of anything at all.
I invite you to journal what comes up when you tell yourself this!
Xx N.A. ✨
It’s not a Zero-Sum Game
Our survival instincts and the way we as a civilisation have evolved makes everything feel like a Zero-Sum game. Deep within our tissues lies the belief that it always has to be a win-lose situation. That the only way we can win , is for someone else to lose.
But consider this thought –
When someone we care about is sick, can we honestly say, “I will be sick for a month so they can be healthy?”
It’s an absurd notion from the get go right? We know and believe it because we can see it.
But what we don’t know is that just like health abundance, is not a zero-sum game either! Just as our well-being doesn’t diminish someone else’s, our abundance isn’t reduced by another’s prosperity. So we really don’t need to fight for a piece, we could have the whole pie and there still would be more than enough left for everyone else. The pie of abundance is infinite!
No To Dos today either, just an invitation to let this realisation sink in and the attempt to apply this in the smallest of situations where a feeling of lack/ competition/ jealousy/ scarcity arises.
By the way if you think you’re not the jealous kind, observe today in moments where you feel like there is a limit/ where do you feel like it something can’t happen because there’s not enough (audience/ money/ space/ time) – all of these are moments of you experiencing lack and so this is an opportunity to transform that lack and realise abundance!
Xx N.A. ✨
So what can we do about it?
It is because of the scarcity laced, zero-sum mindset do we find it difficult to appreciate others‘ abundance, without comparison or self-pity. All of this again shrinks the size of our vessel making it limited.
The next step? Is to transcend this belief and graduate to a bigger vessel. We don’t outgrow jealousy by just gaining this knowledge and forgetting about it. We outgrow it by being honest. And by practising. Each time we’re faced with an uncomfortable feeling that makes us feel small and insecure in comparison to someone, can we remind ourselves that this isn’t a zero sum game but actually a win-win situation.
When we realise this our ego calms down and our jealousy eases allowing us to truly appreciate others wins. This in turn motivates the recipient, brings them joy, and fosters a cycle of goodwill that eventually circles back to us in multiples. All of this shifting us to a bigger vessel !
So the next time, jealousy shows up, I invite you to not shut it down. But. Sit with it and gently ask:
“What desire of mine is this reflecting?”
“Does them having it reduce my chances of having it?”
Xx N.A. ✨
Letting it Sink In
Our bodies are a storehouse for everything we experience. So a sad moment doesn’t just stay in memories, the sadness also lives in our bodies in the form of aches and pains ranging from minor pains to major diseases. Similarly, the beliefs that we have been carrying within us – stay viscerally in our bodies too and when the belief is activated it shows up physically as a tightening of the chest/ sweating/ headache/ shaking of your leg and so on…
So breaking a belief really has two aspects –
– understanding it logically and breaking it within the mind
– clearing it from within the body
Hence this byte will be focussed on a breathing/meditation practise to help integrate in our bodies what we have understood intellectually so far.
Today, let the body speak before the mind explains. When jealousy shows up — pause.
Notice where you feel it. Chest? Stomach? Jaw? Throat? Place one hand there. Take 3 slow breaths.
No fixing. No reframing. Just tell your body:
“It’s safe to want.”
“I’m listening.”
That’s enough for today.
Xx N.A. ✨
In Summary…
This series wasn’t about becoming non-jealous. It was about becoming honest.
We saw how jealousy hides as judgement. How it points to desire. How it’s born from scarcity — not truth. And how abundance doesn’t get divided.
If there’s one thing to carry forward, let it be this: Jealousy isn’t a flaw to eliminate. It’s a signal to understand. It’s a mirror showing you where your future lies.

Why we struggle to Receive and what to do about it
In the next few bytes, we’re exploring Receiving. Why it feels uncomfortable, why we resist it, and how learning to receive is actually an act of trust — not weakness. If giving comes naturally to you but receiving feels heavy, awkward, or undeserved… this is for you ✨
Why We Struggle to Receive
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned that receiving has to be earned with every ounce of blood and sweat. That if something comes easily, it must be undeserved. That taking help makes us weak. That being supported means we’ve failed at being strong.
Most of this isn’t truth — it’s conditioning.
We were praised for being independent, capable, low-maintenance. We learned to give, adjust, overextend — but not to open our hands and simply receive. And slowly, without realising it, receiving started feeling uncomfortable. Even guilty. Even unsafe.
At the root of it all is self-worth. Because when you truly believe you are worthy — you don’t question why life is kind to you. You simply allow it.
To begin healing this we must first start with noticing where it currently shows up in our lives.
To Do:
Notice today — where do you instinctively say “It’s okay, I’ll manage” when support is being offered? Pause before responding.
What would help even more would be if you could just write it down in your journal each time you notice an incident when you’ve recd something (a compliment, money, gifts.. literally anything) and felt uncomfortable to the point of wanting to give it back.
Xx N.A. ✨
Receiving Is Not Laziness, It’s Alignment
There’s a deep misunderstanding that effort equals worth. That if you’re not struggling, pushing, proving — you’re doing something wrong and that if you’re not miserable then you haven’t earned it. But alignment doesn’t look like exhaustion.
Alignment feels like flow. Like things arriving without force. In this state effort feels effortless and what may seem like hard work to someone else feels like joy to you.
Receiving is not passivity.
It’s responsiveness. It’s recognising when life is meeting you halfway and not blocking it with guilt or overthinking. It’s understanding that ease is not a shortcut — it’s intelligence.
When you’re aligned, you don’t chase. You respond. And life moves faster that way.
To Do:
Today, if something feels easy, allow it to be easy — without compensating for it by “doing more.”
Ask yourself, “What would I think of myself if I was doing nothing – not earning any money, not contributing to my family or the world in anyway at all?”
Xx N.A. ✨
Control vs Trust
We may say we’re open to receiving — but many times it comes with an image of how, where , when and from whom we should be receiving it.
This looks like –
“If I gave love to A, then A should be giving love back to me.”
“If I helped here, it should come from here.”
“If I showed up, this is what the return should look like.”
That’s not trust. That’s control.
Receiving requires a deep letting go of expectations. Not just of what we receive — but of how, when, and from where it arrives.
But. Life doesn’t work on linear transactions. What you give to A may come back through D. What you offered silently may return loudly, from a completely different direction.
When we fix the source of receiving in our minds, we tighten our grip. And that grip blocks flow, limiting the possibilities that we may not be able to think of logically but which our higher mind knows to be true.
To Do:
If there’s something you want in your life, ask yourself today if you’re absolutely bent on exactly what it should look like, when and how it should come.
If you’re hellbent on a certain way what you want must come thru then you’re blocking all the other ways (updated, more abundant, bigger and more powerful) that it could come in.
So today let’s work on dropping the rigidity and the control.
Holding on to the substance, let go of the form. 🙂
Xx N.A. ✨
Are you really ready to receive?
Receiving means getting, from something or someone right ?
It could be – a compliment, support, ease, help, appreciation, an unexpected gift.
And most times when these things do come we deflect or reject them
“Oh it was nothing.”
“Anyone could have done that.”
When we are saying these things, subconsciously we feel “I cannot take this, this really isn’t mine”.
But actually receiving doesn’t mean taking.
It’s about capacity. Capacity to hold what you’re getting.
Think of 2 buckets one small and one big, now it’s a no brainer which bucket will hold more, right?
Sometimes what we ask for requires a version of us that can hold it — emotionally, energetically, practically. And until that capacity is built, life doesn’t deny us… it prepares us.
That preparation can look like waiting.
Or things not working out.
Or being redirected.
All of this only to expand the size of our bucket. So that it becomes ready to hold what we are asking for ensuring we don’t receive something before we’re ready to hold it without fear, collapse, or self-sabotage (now we know why people who win lotteries never actually become wealthy and more often than not, lose it all in subsequent months).
So, graceful receiving doesn’t just mean taking something.
It means letting it land and stay without shrinking, without apologising, without explaining.
And every time we receive this way, our capacity grows.
Our nervous system learns: It is safe to have.
Our vessel stretches a little wider.
But when we reject, minimise, or push away, we’re not just rejecting the compliment or the gift.
We’re quietly shrinking our own capacity to receive.
And the universe only gives to the size of the vessel we allow yourself to be.
So, here’s a question worth sitting with when we do ask for something:
Am I actually ready to receive what I’ve asked for? – Like if what I want showed up right now at my doorstep would I be really ready to take it on starting right now?
Or, Are there any opposing thoughts I create when I create the desire?
e.g. “Oh I want that big house. But what a nightmare must it be to maintain it!“
“Oh I wanna start that business. But I don’t have the money/the time/the market/ the customers”
“Oh I wanna be in a relationship, but it might mean losing my freedom”
Xx N.A. ✨
Receiving also means Giving
In the previous byte we spoke of receiving with Grace I.e., a confident and heartfelt thank you when receiving something.
So when we receive with grace, we’re not only expanding OUR vessel. We’re expanding the GIVER’S vessel too.
By receiving fully and gracefully, we give them the gift of appreciation.
When we say a simple, unguarded thank you, we let them feel good for giving.
We affirm their generosity.
We let their gesture matter.
So, we’re not “just taking.” We are creating an energetic circuit. When something flows to us and we allow it in — cleanly, fully, with grace — the circuit completes.
We are offering gratitude, acknowledgment, and the space for someone else to experience abundance through giving.
In that exchange, both vessels expand.
This is why even small moments of receiving matter.
They train our system — and the other person’s — to hold more.
Because receiving actually is a form of abundance – it’s like getting something you want at the moment you want it!
To Do:
So, today, when something comes our way — help, a kind word, a compliment — can we pause.?
And. Let it land?
Can we receive it fully?
Can we say only: Thank you with a genuine warm smile. And nothing else?
That’s us expanding our vessel.
And theirs.

🔅Sit in a comfortable posture and Close your eyes.
🔅Take a deep breath in till your belly for a count of 4, Hold for a count of 4, Exhale for a count of 6. Repeat 6 times or until you feel calm.
🔅In this state, now hold this question in front of your mind – What does receiving freely feel like in my body?
🔅Notice for sensations arising (even the smallest itch or twitch must not be ignored).
🔅Be with this sensation. Follow it. Breathe into it.
🔅If it feels uncomfortable – breathe into it and mentally say to it ‘don’t be afraid, you’re safe and free to be released’ and give it love. Do not resist. Do not force. If there is an urge to cry/ scream/ say something / shake or move – honour your body’s request.
🔅You may find the discomfort increasing / the sensation transforming into another sensation or a feeling or shifting elsewhere – keep at it till you can. If it gets to be too much, you may stop, get up and shake yourself to release all of the excess energy and drink some water.
🔅The signal for you to stop would be – you fall asleep/ your discomfort subsides or transforms into a happy, light feeling/ you start feeling lighter.
🔅Whatever it is, your body has its own guidance system and the best thing is to trust it.
🔅Once you are done – take your usual breaths to reset and end by saying thank you to yourself, your body and the light for supporting you in this practise.
P.S.: It is absolutely normal to feel a sense of depressing emptiness post this practise – this is because your body was carrying a lot of heaviness and now you have emptied the space it was occupying hence the emptiness. This also in a sense the death of an old version of you and the psyche copes with this by mourning for it and hence the feeling of sadness/ depression. Allow yourself to be in this state and do not fight it. You may choose to do something light/ listen to some music to call down the light to fill in that empty space 🤍

In Summary…
This theme was really about noticing.
Not fixing. Not forcing. Just noticing. Noticing how giving feels natural, almost automatic, and how receiving can make the body tense, the mind rush to explain, the heart want to give something back immediately.
We saw how receiving isn’t about laziness or entitlement. It’s about alignment. About allowing ease without compensating for it with effort or guilt.
We looked at control too — how we often decide how, when, and from whom life should give back. And how that grip quietly blocks support we can’t logically predict but deeply need.
We spoke about capacity — that what we ask for often requires a bigger vessel. And that delays, redirections, even discomfort aren’t punishment — they’re preparation.
And we remembered that receiving is never just taking. When we receive cleanly, something completes. Our nervous system softens. The exchange becomes whole.
If there’s one thing to carry forward from this week, let it be this: being held doesn’t mean you’ve failed at standing on your own. That sometimes, life meets you halfway. And all you have to do… is not step back.

Coming Home to Yourself
We’re all “someone” when there’s people around and that ‘someone’ varies massively depending on who is around and that is fine even necessary. But many times we end up losing our real selves in all the roles we play and that becomes a cause for major concern not now, but when the times comes when we are no longer required to play those roles.
So this whole week will be trying to understand who we really are minus all of our other identities.
Who we are you when no one is watching.

Write four things that come up for each of these questions.

Your Natural Frequency
There are things you are good at without trying. It could be – Ways you hold space. Ways you listen, guide, articulate, feel. Often, we dismiss these because they feel easy and because they’re so easy they must not be valuable.
But ease is not accidental — the things that feel really easy to you feel so because you’ve been working on them for years and lifetimes before that. These are things that feel supremely effortless to you now but things you’ve earned in earlier lifetimes.
Once we start noticing and valuing these qualities which feel like second nature we realise that these easy things are many times tremendously difficult to another and hence these are things we should never ignore but pay extreme attention to because they are the key to our fulfilment. They are what help you bring down immense source energy when you exercise them and even more so when you use them not just for you but for others as well.
So ask yourself today:
☀️What do people come to me for?
☀️Where do I feel most like myself — literally? (The pace. The place. The environment.)
List four answers honestly — do not discount anything that comes super naturally to you just because it’s so easy that you could do it in your sleep.

Tying it all together
For the last 3 days we have been exploring and understanding. Today we bring everything together.
Read what you’ve written over the last few days — slowly. Put all your post it’s together side by side. Combine all your notes in one page
Now Circle words/phrases that repeat. Group similar ideas. Let patterns form.
Eg. Travel , Freedom, Family, Art…. And so on
From this, four core pillars will rise — These are your non-negotiables. These if you were to investigate further will form very very clear links to your values. These are things/ aspects that matter most to you and represent your most authentic self. And hence any goal you set, any decision you make must include/ consider these aspects because only when these aspects align in your decision will they be sustainable and bring you the joy that you intended it to bring.
Also when things feel off you will be able to notice that one of these aspects is not in alignment and that this is the reason why you don’t feel good where you are right now.
Eg. let’s say you’re in a job that takes so much of your time and energy that you don’t get for much else. You may absolutely love this job and the work, to bits and pieces and still not feel fulfilled coming to work everyday. And you may feel absolutely confused and exhausted trying to understand what is happening! Now if you have the knowledge that one of your core pillars is family then it will be very easy to trace back that not being able to give to family is what was causing you distress even tho it wasn’t directly linked to your work! Now all you have to do is not work harder at your job, but maybe take a day off and spend it with the family/ make a Family Friday dinner ritual!
And this is how the core pillars are so helpful!
This is just a testament to the fact that the better you understand yourself (not try to fix / change but just know yourself) the better the quality of your everyday becomes and this Core Pillars exercise was just one way of doing that!
Xx N.A. ✨
Choosing the Year You Want to Live
Now that we know our Core Pillars, from this grounded place, we’ll ask a bigger question:
What quality is my soul asking me to practice this year?
Not achieve. PRACTICE.
These are meant to be intangible qualities. Look back to each tough time of your life and realise how the challenge shifted something inside you – your belief in yourself/ your faith/ your view. Each time you changed something within and that is when the challenge transformed and left.
So life is ONLY and ONLY about imbibing different degrees of higher qualities within us.
Now it is upto you if you would like to imbibe them by choice or by challenge.
So, pick a quality that you would like to develop this year. It could be –
Trust.
Receiving.
Ease.
Devotion.
Choose one.
Now define:
🎗️One professional achievement that would change how you see yourself
🎗️One personal shift that would make your life feel different
🎗️One spiritual commitment you would actually keep
And finally, check in:
Do these goals require you to be the theme you chose?
If not — realign your goals to match your theme.
E.g.
If my theme for the year would be “Developing Faith”. Then, each time I was faced with an uncertain situation (a new scary work assignment/ fear about getting sacked/ fear about losing a loved one, etc ) then instead of getting anxious and trying 1000s of things to fix the situation, I would make it a habit to relax, let go, remember – “no matter what happens I will get through this and I have absolute faith that I am held, cared for and protected by forces I cannot see. I am not alone. I trust that the right people, information, circumstances will arise when the need arises and I will be able to handle the situation like my best self.”
To Do:
Create a reminder / a mantra for yourself that you will repeat always to remind yourself of your theme and to practise it in each moment you face something you don’t want to.
Xx N.A. ✨
Letting it Sink In
Only one thing to do today.
The theme you’ve chosen for yourself is definitely not an action, but a quality that you must bring within you, that you must become.
Today – sit down, close your eyes and truly feel that quality in you.
If it’s trust, feel the sense, the feeling of having absolute implicit trust in yourself and in the universe. Feel that confidence, the ease, the relaxation the peace that comes with knowing that you don’t need to be alert and on the lookout.
Your only job today is to let your chosen theme sink into your system.
Xx N.A. ✨
In Summary…
As this Core Pillars capsule concludes, I want you to pause for a moment and notice what surfaced — not what you completed, but what you recognised.
Maybe you saw patterns you’ve been ignoring.
Maybe you felt a quiet “oh… so this is me” in places you’d normalised away.
That’s not coincidence — that’s your authentic core speaking.
Nothing you uncovered this week needs immediate action or dramatic change.
Awareness itself is alignment beginning.
As you move into the next week, ask yourself gently:
Where can I make one small choice that honours what I now know about myself?
Not perfectly. Not loudly. Just honestly. As your authentic self. As your current self.
Xx N.A. ✨
Serve to be Served
No matter text / teacher/ language you follow to study spiritual teachings – the core of it all is one and the same and the different ways are just like choosing your preferred route to the same destination. The underscoring concept behind every single text is that of – “Oneness” that we are all connected to the same source; everyone is a reflection of you; you are in the image of the creator and so on. If we are all connected and as we understood throughout last week that our key purpose on earth is to grow and evolve. Then a natural indication of that is: You grow & evolve even faster when you help others do the same.
The next few bytes, we talk about the concept of Service – Why Service is actually selfish, what counts as service and what does not, Who can serve.
What is Service?
You know what someone needs most when they’re not feeling good?
The light of the divine.
When they’re low it means their tank is running on empty and they need Source Energy to fill their vessel.
When you feel good, it means your line of connection to the creator is on and so all you have to do is pass this line on to them.
That’s service.
That’s it. It is simply helping another find connection to Source of Energy through your own connection.
Very much akin to lighting one candle using another.
Xx N.A. ✨
Service is Selfish
You know last week was a really tough week for me personally, and I was busy fighting my own demons. Just when I decided that nothing is going to make it better, I saw few messages on this very group and ended up responding to a message on a byte.
By the time I was done typing a response to it I felt loads lighter and better! It was like someone had turned a switch in a dark room!
It wasn’t monumental. I don’t even know how much it changed their life. But I made the attempt to make someone better and ended up feeling better myself.
That’s the power of Service.
In the process of trying to fill another cup, I connected to the source and mine was filled up too!
Also, when you serve, you actually become a channel and you naturally draw down more light so that you have enough to pass around.
Imagine an electricity distribution. The grid which is at the city centre has much more power compared to the source of a home simply because the city grid has to transmit energy to a much bigger audience.
So service actually serves the server more than the person being served!
This all circles back to the concept of being connected – if you’re serving others you’re actually serving you!
Xx N.A. ✨
How do I give what I don’t have for myself?
Everyone I know really wants to do service because they know it’s a good thing. But what stops them is this thought:
How will I donate/give when I don’t have enough for myself – time/ money/ skills/ resources
This though the truth, is only a limitation.
We’ve had it the other way round thinking that I will Give when I have Received.
But the secret actually is – you have to first Give to Receive.
So if there’s something you really really want? Start giving it first!
Remember, creation loves every single aspect of its creation (just the way you care for every single cell of your body for simply the reason that good/ bad it is all yours) and is thus constantly looking for ways in which it can reach them all. Hence if it sees that you are wanting to serve one of its creations, it will immediately relay you light (in the form of money/ resources/ time) to help you serve.
You don’t have to be the
🫰🏼rich to donate money
🫰🏼smartest to create a solution
🫰🏼most skilled to help someone learn
🫰🏼best in the industry to have a great product
🫰🏼greatest looking to help someone look good
So when you think of serving don’t even worry about skills/ ability/ how many resources you have.
Your vessel DOESN’T NEED to be full when you think of serving.
Your vessel will get filled up in the process of trying to fill another.
In fact it will overflow and the service will come from that overflow!
To Do:
Today ask yourself – what comes in the way for me when I think about doing service?
Xx N.A. ✨
What counts as Service?
Service doesn’t have to mean standing with a sign in the heat on the road / giving food to the hungry / helping someone cross the street / any of traditional things that come up when we think of the word service / volunteering.
Yes it is all of those things but it is much more too!
Remember, Service is simply using your light to turn on another.
So,
🫶🏼 paying your children’s fee with no expectation of payback
🫶🏼 sitting there with a friend just to help them wade through
🫶🏼 providing advice (when asked) and truly helping someone make a decision
🫶🏼 sending peace, blessings & good energies to countries that are at war when reading the paper
🫶🏼 giving a warm hug/ a shoulder to cry when needed without them asking for it
🫶🏼 truly wishing someone well even if non-verbally
🫶🏼 walking away from gossip
🫶🏼 small acts like – telling them their shoelace is undone, picking up items they dropped unintentionally, smiling at people
are all acts of service even through they may not seem so!
So even if you’re not going for the weekly beach clean up drive – you can find other ways to serve!
Even if you spend only a minute to do them – the benefit you’re getting is much more than the acts you’ve labelled as “service”!
All you have to do is use your connection to source to help another find their connection. That’s all!
Ask yourself –
What are the things I’m currently doing that I do out of pure love/ care / intention to support or help which I do and completely forget about?
Recognise these as acts of service, give yourself a pat on the back!
If you’re doing all of this for your family and loved ones ask yourself how you can extend this to acquaintances and strangers.
Xx N.A. ✨
What ISN’T Service?
Service is an absolutely magical tool and can do insane wonders to your life in a very short period of time. However there exists only one rule to this – Intention.
The most IMPORTANT aspect of service is that you must Serve not for the sake of getting but with the intention to actually serve and help or make someone better.
If you’re serving
🤷🏻♀️ out of compulsion that someone will feel bad / hurt if you don’t
🤷🏻♀️ out of your own “need” to do so
🤷🏻♀️ by violating your own boundaries
🤷🏻♀️ by compromising for the sake of making them feel good – thinking that even if it pains you, their smile is your reward
🤷🏻♀️ with the expectation of getting something in return (name/ fame/ appreciation/ goodwill, etc)
It is NOT service.
It’s a mere transaction where you’re giving with the intention to receive.
With this intention to “get” you’re cut off from the source and have reversed it all because now you’re in the state of lack where you’re trying to fill your vessel by taking from the person you’re trying to serve.
When you Serve with the intention of really filling another’s cup – you are connected to source. This is what connects you to the creator and brings down the necessary information / energy/ resources to help.
True Service will always make you feel Empowered beyond words.
Ask yourself today –
In all my current actions that I label as service:
Are they coming from a pure place ? Am I doing it to serve / am I doing to receive something?
Am I forcing something on someone in the name of helping them? (Eg. forcing your colleague to start a regimen when they don’t want to because you think it will help them)
The most common form of service for most of us is Donations to Charity – Really ask and check if you’re donating to a charity just because your name is highlighted in their newsletter/ donating just get a tax benefit.
You don’t necessarily need to stop doing these. Just need to transform the intention to enjoy its benefit.

Good ol’ fashioned myth busting
Enlightenment can be found only in renunciation
A common myth is that practising spirituality “requires” you to abandon all worldly possessions I.e. give up all your desires and live like a monk.
There are many ways to understand this knowledge and going to the mountains is just one of them.
In reality, spirituality can be integrated into your everyday life and the true test of whether you’ve really learnt it happens when you are at the dinner table in the middle of a fight, raging with anger but instead of blowing up, you immediately find a graceful way of making yourself heard and leaving the table with a smile or when your boss insults you in front of your team and instead of bitching about them, you bless them with peace and with the realisation that maybe they are only reflecting your inner state of being.
Most spiritual teachers that I have learnt from are/were successful professionals balancing their careers and personal lives with their spiritual practices.
Rather than forcing oneself to give up desires getting in this practise helps to explore the why behind every desire and reach a state of having desires but with no insistence/ expectation/ dependence on its physical manifestation and being in a state of joy with or without it.
To Do:
Today take time to sit comfortably in a state of calm and:
☯ Take a deep breath in through your nose, fill your belly, hold for a second and exhale.
☯ Make your exhale longer than your inhale.
☯ Repeat 5-7 times.
☯ Then mentally hold this question in your mind: is there anyway in which I inhibit my “desire” for anything (food/friendships/ connection/ alcohol/ unhealthy snacks/ binge watching/luxury items, etc) in life?
☯ See what comes up. Allow whatever comes to come. It could be thoughts/ sensations/ images/ feelings.
☯ Repeat the breath and ask yourself to release the insistence to let go of the desire. Drop the insistence and not the desire.
☯ Then explore why you carry this desire in the first place – every desire we have has an emotion need behind it
More often than not when you stop forcing yourself and fulfil the emotional need, the desires that don’t align with your betterment will automatically drop.

It only comes with Age
We’ve talked about how spirituality is like a map, a guiding system. So if spirituality really is a playbook to life, then wouldn’t it make sense to have it handy from the moment you can make sense of the world?
So you actually, don’t have to (and shouldn’t) wait until retirement or a mid-life crisis to start exploring spirituality. In fact, getting into it earlier will help you navigate life’s ups and downs with more grace and fulfilment.
People wait for the day when they “have free time” on hand to explore this subject. But what they’re missing out on is that THIS practise is THE WAY to “make time”!
By practising this, you get to explore and know who you really are, and hence you:
a. get clarity on what ‘you’ really want and spend no time on things that you don’t want or that don’t matter. Basically you find freedom by being able to drop “the frills”
b. find greater alignment and deeper connection to source, becoming naturally productive and efficient
Hence by the time you reach old age – you are living a “no regrets” life!
Now isn’t that the kind of retirement we all look forward to ?
To Do:
☮ What comes to my mind when I think of meditating/ spending quiet time with myself?
☮ For every answer you will be able to find a pattern of avoidance with an underlying fear
☮ Ask yourself what is that you’re scared of.
☮ Question the validity/ truth of this fear.
Feel free to ask/ share whatever comes up!

Belief in God Is a Must
A common belief is that spirituality requires belief in a specific idea of God.
But let’s pause for a moment.
Science has still not been able to create a human being or even a single rose using the same ingredients the universe freely uses — water, air, soil, and sunlight.
So whether or not you resonate with a traditional image of God, it’s hard to deny that something intelligent is at work — a life force that makes seasons change, hearts beat, grass grow, the sun rise, and the moon appear right on time.
Spirituality is not about blind belief.
It is the art and science of understanding this life force — this “secret sauce” — and learning how to live in harmony with it. In fact, true spirituality often moves you away from superstition and toward clarity.
It helps you question what you’ve inherited, keep what feels true, and drop what no longer serves you — replacing fear-based belief with lived understanding.
You don’t need to believe in God to be spiritual.
You only need curiosity, honesty, and the willingness to observe life deeply.
To Do:
Sit quietly for a few minutes and reflect on this question:
❄️ What does God mean/ look like/ feel like to me?
❄️ Is this image mine or it’s something that was taught me?
❄️ With all the experience I have of life so far, does this image still resonate?
❄️ Notice what feels light and expansive versus what feels heavy or fear-driven.
For me personally, I have a come LONG way from believing that God was a man who was watching my every move through a hidden camera! 😅 Now it has shifted from an image I was scared of to a feeling that I come back to every time I feel scared!
Do share your idea of God on the group!

It’s a Game of Luck
We often look at successful people and think life must have been unusually generous to them. That they were lucky. But more often than not, it isn’t luck at all.
It’s alignment.
When you’re deeply in tune with who you truly are and what you’re here to do, life begins to respond differently. You start making choices that feel right instead of forced. You say yes to what resonates and no to what doesn’t. And in that clarity, opportunities don’t need to be chased — they find you.
This is where spirituality plays its role.
It helps you quiet the noise, hear your inner guidance, and move in the direction that’s meant for you. It helps you find your innate purpose. When that happens, coincidences increase, the right people show up, and doors open at the right time.
That’s what we call luck.
But it’s really just you flowing in harmony with life and your true purpose.
To Do:
Ask yourself today:
🍀 Do I believe in luck?
🍀 Why do I believe so?
🍀 What would happen if I started calling myself lucky?
🍀 Then with every why that came up in questioning, take a deep breath in, and ask where it is sitting in your body.
🍀 Breathe into it and release it. It could be pain, tears, sensations, emotions. Let it in. Don’t run away from it!
More often than not we have faced bad luck and in order to protect ourselves and not be further disappointed, we start calling ourselves “unlucky” and say things like “see I knew it wasn’t going to work out” “even my bad luck is unlucky!”. We announce the loss, before it can come up surprisingly.
I won’t ask you to give up your entire belief system and start walking around like you’re carrying a leprechaun in your pocket. But for just 5 minutes today I invite you to:
🍀 Close your eyes, take a breath in and feel, truly feel what going in flow feels like.
🍀 Notice the ease with which you are taking each breath, feel that ease flowing into every area of your life.
🍀 Take the risk and feel what it would feel like to not worry about every outcome and feel relief in the knowing that you are held, taken care of and inherently lucky!
Xx N.A. ✨
It will be Sunshines, Rainbows and Daisies!
Spirituality does not promise a problem-free life. Challenges will still come. Things will still fall apart at times. Sometimes many times.
So if you’re getting into this to just erase every “issue” in your life, you’re in for a big surprise.
That said, What does change is you.
You find the realisation that life is a constant game of recalibration. Every challenge becomes less challenging and morphs into releasing limitation in you and coming closer to your true self.
With practice, you begin to meet life from a more centred place. Instead of reacting in panic or resistance, you respond with calm, clarity, and inner strength. You may not always control what happens and somedays you may completely lose yourself, but where once you considered it a curse and felt helpless, you now find inner strength and the ability to within find the ability to stay grounded while it’s happening.
Life doesn’t become perfect.
But you become more anchored.
To Do:
Whether you’ve been a spiritual practitioner or not you have been living life. Whether you liked it or not you have faced things you would never wish on anyone. But with spirituality you gain the ability to realise that there is a reason behind it, it isn’t random and it is here to teach you something/ uncover something in you thus bringing the ability to handle it better, appreciate it and thus bring the intended benefits quicker!
Today, look back on every bad situation you faced – small or big.
Note what changed because of it in the long run.
You will realise that it actually worked in your favour and where you are now wouldn’t have been possible without facing what you faced!
I recently found this poem that Charlie Chaplin is said to have written on his 70th birthday, I think it pairs perfectly with what we have spoken of today!

The W’s of Life
The W’s of life
Have you ever found yourself thinking, “Who am I?” “Why am I here?” or “What’s my purpose?”. We’ve all wondered and hit the brakes on that train of thought for lack of satisfactory answers and for fear of what we may discover. If you’re on a similar quest for answers, the next few bytes are going to be all about breaking down all things “Spirituality” and removing all the “woo-woo” energy many of us associate with it!
What is Spirituality All About?
Spirituality might sound like a big, fancy concept, but it’s actually quite straightforward. It’s about realising that there’s more to life than waking up, slogging through the day, eating and sleeping only to wake up to do it all over again the next day. The Royal College of Psychiatrists puts it as recognising that there’s a cosmic or divine essence to life.
Think of spirituality like a User Manual for life—makes it much easier to operate the machine in the first go rather than just pushing buttons and pulling levers left and right, doesn’t it?
We’ve all had moments where we got a very strong feeling to do/not do something and acting on these inklings lead to some of our most formative experiences. These are rare moments we experience only a few times in our lifetime. But. What if I were to tell you that you could make these aha moments a daily affair?
Yes! Practicing spirituality helps to sharpen our intuition which is our inner GPS to help make sense of the big questions and navigate through ups and downs.
Whether you’re choosing a career, a partner, or figuring out what’s next, spirituality can give you those “aha” moments in surprising ways—a random insight, a meaningful chat, or even a sudden gut feeling.
To Do:
Ask yourself –
What does Spirituality mean to me?
Do I think I’m Spiritual?
Does the word “Spirituality” make me uncomfortable in my seat?
Ask yourself these questions and find your truth. We often don’t do things because of the definitions we have around them for unknown reasons. Everything always boils down to energy and information. Once we find out the underlying beliefs that we have been carrying around any subject, the discomfort always “evaporates” and almost always immediately so.
Feel free to share your answers on the group – bringing things outside your mind and out in the open in a safe place is extremely freeing and helps turn most mountains into molehills!

Why are we here?
Think about how you observe ants or birds and wonder about their lives sometimes. It’s similar for us humans. We’re here because our being wants to experience the whole spectrum of human experiences with the objective to learn, and grow. Life throws challenges our way to push us beyond our comfort zones and help us evolve. Just like ants and birds have their roles, we’re here to grow, contribute, and find our unique path.
You are the way for the Universe to know itself.
Each of us has a unique life purpose. Maybe you’re here to spread joy as an entertainer, or to help others as a doctor, teacher, or social worker. Your soul has a mission, and following that path is key to finding real fulfilment. It’s not about just existing but thriving and contributing in a way that aligns with your deepest self.
To Do:
Ask yourself –
Does this information resonate with me on any level at all? Or does this feel foreign and uncomfortable?
Do I think/feel there’s more to life than just eating/sleeping/going to work?
These questions are gentle ways of exploring ourselves. If you’re in TSK you surely aren’t one of those that sleep through life. You are one who has wondered, felt uneasy and dropped it then and there. So this is me trying to help you uncover things for yourself in the gentlest way possible!
Remember: Do not be afraid of what answers come up. Anything that feels unsafe/ uncomfortable is JUST your fear/ past conditioning. All you have to do is breathe into it and release it. Exploring these aspects is the one sure way to reach a higher level of yourself!
Helping souls explore themselves is the reason I created this community, so if that fear does get overwhelming, make sure to not keep it in and share it out in the group and I promise you will find comfort and answers!

Why Spirituality?
The more we align with our true purpose and help others, the more fulfilling our lives become. There is ample proof of this in observation of the lives of successful people and conglomerates who more often than not have a core mission centred around serving others by solving a problem/satisfying a need/helping humanity in some way. It is when we start serving others and to something bigger than ourselves do we find a ‘reason to live‘, ‘meaning in life‘, ‘reason to jump out of bed every morning‘. The more people we serve the happier and bigger our life is and the richer we are (in every sense of the word).
Spirituality helps us align with our true purpose and adds meaning to life. Practicing spirituality brings us closer to who we truly are. If that means that you are a traveler then it will take you to places. If that means that you are a very creative person then it will take you closer to your creativity and not take you away from it. If you are meant to be an entrepreneur then spirituality will only make you more successful.
To Do:
Ask yourself –
– Do I feel peaceful for the majority part of my day?
– Do I feel like what I do is meaningful in anyway and serves something bigger than myself?
– Do I feel excited to jump out of bed every morning?
Take your time with these questions, see how each one “feels” in your body physically. Whatever discomfort arises – let it. Do not attempt resisting/fighting it. Do not try to push it down.
Just breathe and release!
in case you feel stuck – you know where to find me!
Xx N.A. ✨
What is Life anyway?
Life is a way to evolve and it operates under some fundamental universal laws, one of which is the law of attraction. Its concepts like – “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, “everything and everyone around you is a reflection of you” – are all based on the underlying truth that somewhere we are all connected to each other and to a higher source of energy and because we’re all connected, our growth fast-tracks when we help others evolve.
To Do:
Ask yourself –
– Do I believe in these fundamental laws?
If “Yes” – Does this give me confidence and reinforce my faith in life?
if “No” – Why? What about these laws do I not like?
If “Kind of” – What is it that I keep waiting for to have complete belief in these laws?
Feel free to share your answers on the group – bringing things outside your mind and out in the open in a safe place is extremely freeing and helps turn most mountains into molehills!

We’re all on the journey back to source
If you’ve been on all the bytes this far, consider it a sign that this is the right time for you to level up and start your inner journey !
Spirituality isn’t about following strict rules or abandoning your current life; it’s about enhancing your understanding of the universe and yourself. It’s a journey that can lead to greater fulfilment and clarity. Approach it with an open mind, and you might just discover the answers you’ve been searching for.
Spirituality has taught me that it’s not about escaping from life but about engaging with it more deeply. It’s about finding meaning in everyday experiences and using those insights to enhance our personal and professional lives. Spirituality has made me more aware, more centred, and more aligned with who I am.
As Robert Frost wisely said, “The best way out, is through.”
Here’s to finding your path, embracing your journey, and making your life richer and more meaningful!
To Do:
Ask yourself –
What are the things I’m most afraid of when I think of “getting into spirituality/ starting my inner journey”?
Ask yourself these questions and find your truth. We often don’t do things because of the definitions we have around them for unknown reasons. Everything always boils down to energy and information. Once we find out the underlying beliefs that we have been carrying around any subject, the discomfort always “evaporates” and almost always immediately so.

Hobbies for Life
Each of us is born with many unique qualities and talents.
But because these qualities/ talents many times aren’t mainstream/ in the shape or form that can earn us a livelihood, we put them in a box and brush these aside in the attics of our minds because:
a. how does it matter if I’m good at it?
b. what’s even the point of practising these talents because I’ll never use them anyway
c. who the hell cares?
But the one question that we forget to ask in the whole process is that –
Does practising this talent/ quality give me joy/ peace/ satisfaction?
Yes?
The real purpose of these talents/ qualities isn’t to receive appreciation/validation from the world.
It is to free you from everything that is not you. It is to connect you to the source.
In fact each time you practise it with the idea that it “should” be taking care of you, it stops brining you joy and loses its original vibration.
Ever wondered why going to a job and doing things you don’t enjoy feels super draining even if you do it only for a few hours?
Because the job doesn’t bring you peace/joy. And Peace/Joy are life sustaining forces. Literally.
You can endure anything when you’re at peace. But the same thing while you’re angry/ sad/ any other state ? Impossible.
And the real kicker ?
Once you do practise it for the sheer joy of just doing it and without the expectation of what it should bring? It becomes life sustaining. In every sense of the word. You receive every possible support – money, health, and everything else so that you can practise it with even more freedom.
You know why?
Because now you become a channel bring joy and peace to not just yourself but to the world too!
To Do:
Think back to your childhood or recent years. What is that one thing you’ve done effortlessly, without much thought, and thoroughly enjoyed?
Perhaps it’s baking a loved one’s birthday cake. Maybe it’s going on hikes with friends. Or cooking for your kids or, singing while doing chores, or playing an instrument— think anything that lights you up and something that never tires you out.
Reflect on these moments, and start putting those activities on your calendar.
Making time for your hobbies isn’t a distraction from work—it’s an investment in your well-being. They rejuvenate you, helping you show up as your most energetic and best self at work.

The Nature of things
Mindfulness Minute
We all have 24hrs in a day but most times these hours fly by without an account of how they were spent causing much anxiety and stress. In such a hustle of our daily lives with multiple responsibilities – taking up mindfulness activities like meditation are of great value as they help to bring attention to the present moment and making us aware.
That said, some days there aren’t enough hours in the day to set aside for meditation – that is when a mindfulness minute works wonders!
To Do:
During your day, no matter where you are, please take a mindfulness minute – no need to pull away from what you are doing – just an increased awareness of where you are and what you are experiencing.
💻 Just entered a meeting and waiting to start? Take a minute to just concentrate on your surroundings – notice how your chair feels, look outside your window or just observe people moving and talking.
☕️ Going to get a coffee in between meetings? Mindfully take those few steps to the pantry – notice your every step, the cup in your hand, the sounds you hear as you walk by.
Crux – Just be in the moment for a minute and notice how it makes you calmer and more focussed.
Remember, mindfulness isn’t about stopping your thoughts—it’s about observing them without judgment.
Just one minute can make a big difference!

Become Useless to become Useful
Do you know what gives any box, container, or utensil its usefulness?
Its Emptiness.
While planning and following schedules is key to achieving goals, it’s equally important to avoid filling every second with activities. Scheduling time to do absolutely nothing is essential.
When we embrace stillness and step away from our plans, inspiration strikes, creativity flows, and new perspectives emerge by helping to break away from continually same thinking patterns.
To Do:
Schedule time to do absolutely nothing.
This doesn’t mean watching a show, scrolling through social media, or engaging in a hobby. It means truly doing nothing—lying down and staring at the ceiling or sitting in your balcony gazing at the sky.
When your mind is free of any instruction, that’s when the magic happens.

In Nature, nothing us perfect and everything is perfect
Unlike us, animals, trees, and other beings of nature live in harmony with the rhythms of life. They stay connected to their source, drawing the intelligence and strength needed to fulfil their purpose. Their power lies in their “instincts and intuition” which comes from being aligned with nature.
Humans, too, are a product of that same source, deeply connected to nature. However, with our intellectual and emotional capacities, our lives tend to be far more complicated than, say, an animal whose primary role is to sleep, hunt, feed itself and its family.
That doesn’t change the fact that we are still beings of nature and our superpower too lies in our “instincts”.
Aligning with nature’s rhythm and reconnecting with its energy can work wonders for our lives especially by strengthening our instincts. In today’s world, where our greatest inventions often shelter and detach us from this connection, it’s more important than ever to rebuild this bond.
The good news? It’s simpler than you might think. All it takes is reconnecting with even one element of nature and making it a regular habit.
To Do:
Here are some easy ways to immerse yourself in nature:
🕊️ Stand on your balcony, listening to the sounds around you, like the chirping of birds.
🕊️ Spend time in your nearest garden, letting the fresh air wash over you.
🕊️ Walk barefoot on dewy grass in the early morning.
🕊️ Take a peaceful stroll on your terrace or in your residential compound, enjoying the breeze.
🕊️ Sit on a park bench to gaze at the moon and stars at night or observe the clouds and birds during the day.
🕊️ Watch a little ant going about its business—that itself can teach us so much about life !
🕊️ Stand under the shade of a tree, appreciating its life force.
You don’t need hours—just a few minutes during your lunch break or at the start of your day. Stand outside, mentally connect with a tree, or even look out your window at the sky and the clouds.
A few moments of connecting with nature can bring incredible clarity, focus, and calm to your day. It’s all about realigning with the life force that flows through you.

Create your own piece of nature right now!
While being nature is a beautiful thing it’s a very difficult feat in cities which are filled with smog and next to no greenery around.
I can completely relate to that sentiment and for years I’ve not spent time in nature for that very reason.
I recently realised something which solved this issue for me in a jiffy!
Remember a few bytes ago I mentioned that we live in an Electromagnetic Field? (scroll down to: “Why are feelings so important?”)
This field is in us, around us all the time.
Consider a piece of cloth and an embroidery on it – the field is the cloth and we (and all the other elements – other people things etc) are the embroidery on this cloth.
So in essence everything is on the field, in the field, made from the field, of the field – all connected and made of the same thing.
LOCATION MEANS NOTHING for this field.
Don’t have a thick green forest next to your house ?
No problem!
All you have to do is this:
🌳 Look for a “nature/ forest/ river/ garden sounds” playlist on your music app.
🎧 Put your headphones on noise cancellation
👀 Close your eyes
👂 and just listen
Within moments you will feel as if you’re in that very scene.
The moment you start feeling this deeply, you start connecting to the energy of that place you’re visualising.
The effect? The very same that you would’ve experienced if you were actually there!
This isn’t mumbo-jumbo magic. It’s physics.
So you don’t have to look for a nature garden anymore, you could create it wherever you are!
I’ve been doing this for so many weeks before I sleep/ when my mind is racing and it’s SO peaceful. And you know what? Since then I keep coming across pieces of nature that I can enjoy in the most unexpected places!
Sharing here some of the playlists I use regularly below. These are apply music but very easily available on other apps too:
🍀 Ram Dass
Hope this helps!

Elements of Nature
Harness the Elements of Nature: Fire 🔥
Each one of us and everything single around us is made up of the 5 elements of nature mixed together in different proportions and myriad forms! So naturally these 5 elements contain in them a lot of power to support us and bring our lives back to equilibrium! The following few bytes will be all about those 5 elements and VERY EASY ways on how to harness each of them.
Element: Fire
Fire burns and disintegrates, breaking things down to their purest form. It is extremely powerful, in that it carries the potential to bring change and transform.
How we can use it everyday to bring change to our lives:
Every time you see fire burning somewhere (a diya, a bonfire, a candle, etc), imagine the vices/habits/ old memories/ heartbreaks/ pains/ things that bother you, that you would like to transform and exit your life. Then mentally imagine it leaving your body and getting burnt into the fire.
E.g. if you get a craving for certain things you know are not good for you, you can imagine that feeling, that craving getting burnt in the fire thus leaving your body and freeing you. You could also write it down on a paper and burn the same (very very safely) but the safest way is to look at a flame and imagine it getting burnt and it will have the same effect as actually burning something.
Now you know why most Indian ceremonies/ rituals involve lighting a diya/ small bonfires – to burn all the negativity inside and around thus purifying space for good things to come in.

Harness the Elements of Nature: Water 💦
Did you know that the human body consists of about 75% water?
Did you know that water has consciousness too?
Dr. Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist, exposed water with various thoughts, words, and emotions of intention, affirmation, or prayer. After that, he froze them and observed them under a special microscope. What happened was the frozen crystallized molecule structure changed! Above are some examples of positive and negative emotional effects on the water. You can see how the water molecule crystallized into different forms. The positive emotions create an incredibly beautiful formation, but the negative emotions transform into `distorted forms.
So if your entire body is mostly water then it goes to emphasise the importance of having positively charged water.
What is the significance of having positively charged water vs negatively charged water you ask?
That can be seen from the image above where a similar experiment was done with rice and water and the effect on the rice with different vibrations of water.
Water has the quality to absorb, whatever it has come in contact with, whatever it hears (a bottle kept in a room absorbs all the energies of that room and the conversations of that room) and so on thus, whatever it absorbs can also be nullified simply with intention.
How?
Each time you fill up a water bottle / someone hands you a glass of water – take 5 seconds to change its vibrations before you consume by saying positive words to it like – this water is healthy, this water brings me good health, it is filled with love and joy.
If you’d like to explore this concept more, here are some useful resources:
a. Sister BK Shivani talking about how to purify water:
b. Experiments done by Dr. Masaru Emoto:
b.1. Water Experiment
b.2. Rice-Water Experiment
Fun Facts:
a. Now you know why various Indian Traditions have a custom of offering food to the deities before eating it! Every particle of food contains mostly water – and praying helps to purify the food of all the unwanted energies!
b. Now you also know why the food made by the hands of a loved one tastes SO good! Its because of the energy they carry while preparing it that gets absorbed in the water in the food!

Harness the Elements of Nature: Soil 🌳
Soil represents structure and stability. Think phrases like ‘find some ground to stand on’, ‘have your feet on the ground’, ‘stay grounded’. These aren’t just phrases. They’re the truth. The more firmly planted you are, the stronger you become, unphased by whatever challenges you face.
How can we make this happen literally?
Through an exercise called ‘Grounding’.
You can do it wherever you are, whenever you want – especially in moments where you feel overwhelmed with any emotion (be it fear/ anxiety/ stress/ joy/ excitement so on). Basically anything that feels like it is becoming to be “too much to handle”.
You can do it sitting however standing works best.
Stand up and Imagine yourself to be a tree. Then imagine roots growing out of the base of your feet going deep into the ground upto 10 feet. Feel the stability and sturdiness in your body while also swaying lightly with the wind.
Now imagine ALL of that overwhelming emotion getting absorbed into the ground going down from your roots. Stay there and continue with this picture until you start feeling lighter and more neutral.
And the best part? it doesn’t take more than 30 seconds to do and brings IMMEDIATE effects!

Harness the Elements of Nature: Air 🌬️
Remember that dank, weird smell that you experience when you enter a room that has been closed for days/ weeks? What’s the first thing we do?
Open all the windows! Let the air flow!
Too many times we behave like that closed room ourselves. Whenever we’re in a panic/ stressful situation – the first thing we do is hold our breath.
Next time you get a chance, notice how babies breathe – the breathe completely from their bellies – the same way we do when we’re very relaxed (eg. when we’re sleeping). The moment we are stressed our breathing becomes very limited and we breathe from our chests (that feeling when you’ve ran as if there’s a lion chasing you!) which is the worst way to breathe.
Air represents flow, movement, circulation.
How can we use this in our lives?
Next time you find yourself stressed and frozen – notice your breathing – are they short breaths from your chest?
In that case stop immediately and try this: Breathe in till you feel your belly fill up for the count of 6 – Hold for the count of 2 – Exhale for the count of 8 till you feel your belly contract – Hold for 2. And repeat. This done for 4/5 times will bring immediate calm to you.

Harness the Elements of Nature: Ether/Space 🌟
Scientists have still not been able to create a rose using all the 4 elements. Enter the Secret 5th element: Ether!
I like to call it the binder, the essential life force, the prana, the chi, the X-factor, the je-nais-se-quois.
Without it, you would still have a body but you wouldn’t be YOU.
How to picture it? Imagine a sponge dipped in water, there’s water in the sponge and around it. Same with ether, it is in us and all around us.
Something we can’t see but is very much tangible and real. It is what makes us trees grow fruits, what gives us feelings, emotions and the sense of being connected with everything.
How to harness it? (This will sound like a cliché because of the sheer no. of times it has been said! But that doesn’t make it less true!)
Meditation!
Before you shut off. Hold on. What exactly is meditation? Very simply stated it is ‘present moment awareness’.
While there are many many many wasy of doing it I will suggest two ( we will be discussing many more types of meditation in bytes to come)
a. 5-4-3-2-1: Use this when you’re in the middle of your day to day and feeling completely lost and disconnected. Spot 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste. The exercises forces you to focus and bring your attention to right where you are, thus immediately cantering you in this moment, in the now.
b. Om Chants: Sit in a comfortable posture. Breathe in. Chant OM while breathing out(does not need to be loud. Even saying it with the softest voice that only you can hear has the same effect) and then wait. Breathe and Wait in the silence that follows for a few seconds. And then repeat. You will notice an immediate quietness!

Life Hacks you didn’t know you needed
Salt & Coffee at your service!
You clean your body on the daily. Right?
But do you clean your energy?
Maybe. Maybe Not.
Presenting to you, the very humble household ingredient – SALT 🧂
Yes. Salt is renowned for its cleansing and purifying characteristics.
Presenting another household but not so humble member of the pantry – COFFEE. ☕️
Coffee is also a famous member of the energy clearing family.
Individually they are powerful. Together they are super-powerful!
Coffee breaks up energetic blockages and salt absorbs, clears them.
How to incorporate into your routine:
🫙Use any bottle/jar that can be safely placed in your shower.
🧂 Fill 85% of this container with salt and the remaining 15% with coffee.
🫨 Mix it well and keep it in your shower.
👊🏼 Take a fistful of this mixture and rub it all over your body after your shower right before you’re ready to towel up,
⏱️stay for 15-20sec,
🚿wash it with water and then
🧻towel up!
The relief is instant!
Pro Tips:
✔️This ritual can be done any time – done during nighttime shower, gives extra calmness before you hit the hay
✔️This should be the last thing you do in the shower (I.e., post body wash, scrub , etc)
✔️Can be done once daily / once every 2-3 days to begin with
✔️Some days when you feel super drained/ feet hurt a lot – you can add this mixture to hot water and soak your feet in it – it really really does take away all the exhaustion from the day!
✔️Any basic coffee and salt is okay to use. You may also choose various bath salts available in the market if you don’t want to make it at home. ✔️Use small grains which will be easy to use in the shower and bigger crystals which can dissolve in water for soaking in the bathtub
❗️Be VERY gentle as you rub this mixture as it may make you itchy and cause dryness so make sure to moisturise
❌ DO NOT scrub very hard
❌ DO NOT use in the eyes
❌ DO NOT use on open wounds
🏖️ Fun fact: Now you know why sea beaches feel SO RELAXING! You’re surrounded by a natural mixture of salt and water!

Anxiety or Depression? Snap out now!
We usually are in one of two states most of the times – Anxiety or Depression.
Albeit, we feel these things in varying degrees.
If you’re anxious, you’re living in the future.
If you’re depressed, you’re living in the past.
You know which state peace lives in?
The Present.
But let’s be honest, it’s not easy staying in the present is it?
Life happens and we can’t help but go back to how it was or worry about what’s going to happen.
So today I’ll share 2 simple tools to:
A. Recognise when you’re feeling anxious/ depressed
B. What to do to snap out of it
How to recognise ANXIETY:
a. Mind: Overthinking, too many what-ifs, feels like it’s in overdrive, too many tabs open, worrying-ness, jittery
b. Body: Shaking, fidgeting, inability to sit still, short fast breaths from the chest/ irregular breathing, sweating, heating up of the body
What to do to immediately calm down:
5-4-3-2-1 technique: Spot 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 thing you can taste.
Do it anytime of the day. As many times as you want.
The exercise forces you to focus and bring your attention to right where you are, thus immediately centring you in this moment, in the now.
How to recognise DEPRESSION:
a. Mind: Fogginess, inability to connect thoughts, feeling sadness, regret, pain, constant replay of past memories, feeling happiness in the memories and not being able to find it anywhere in the now
b. Body: Lack of energy, motivation, feeling of boredom, tiredness despite proper rest, lethargy, drowsiness
What to do to immediately come back:
Shaking: Stand up with feet firmly on the ground, start with gentle swaying movements. Increase intensity slowly with by shaking your legs, arms, wrists, fingers, raising your shoulders up and down, twisting. Basically moving your body on the spot in whatever way feels right and pick your intensity as per your comfort. Do this for a minute or two and when you feel lighter slowly reduce intensity and then come to a stop. Take a deep breath from your nose all the way to your belly and exhale from your mouth. Repeat twice.
Do it anytime of the day. As many times as you want.
This literally shakes off all the dust stuck here and there in your energy field and helps with opening up your chakras for recirculation of both blood and energy.
These are simple but super duper effective tips!
Hope these help you!
Would love to hear your experiences with it on TSK Talk!

Let It Go!
Letting go feels tough doesn’t it?
Every fibre of your being wants to hold on, wants to fight for it tooth and nail.
But what we forget to see in all of this is the pain and the suffering that it is causing us to hold on. Since we’re already enduring it, we don’t realise how much it’s costing us and how much space it would create if we chose to give it up.
Our mind , our ego will always prefer to choose the familiar devil over the unfamiliar angel.
We are beings wired for survival and so anything that’s new (no matter how good/ helpful) feels threatening at the start.
So we try to hold on to everything we know with dear life.
So today I encourage all of you to take a look at what is it that you have been trying to hold on to so tightly that it’s hurting your fingers? And Consider the idea of loosening that grip.
Remember, It is only an empty hand that can receive.
Remember, You need to open your hands in order to catch.
So I’m not asking you to go out of your way to throw that thing away but simply to stop holding on so tight. And open your hands. And let go.
If it is meant to stay with you and if it serves you, then letting go will actually make it come back to you.
Your mantra for today:
Anything that you lost was never truly yours to begin with. And if it was, then it will always come back to you in another form!
So if it feels tough to hold on to then,
Let it Go!

Don’t Give Up, Surrender instead!
There are days when nothing works out and everything seems to be falling apart. On those days when we’re tired and exhausted when we find no other resort we feel forced to say those three words we never thought we would.
I. Give. Up.
I know it, I get it. I’ve been there too.
But from today onwards can we all take a pledge to replace those
3 words of helplessness – I GIVE UP to
2 words of powerful-ness? – I SURRENDER
I surrender is the place where you’re standing at the end of your capacity and the beginning of the Universe’s creation!
It’s the place where you don’t relinquish control, but finally relax in the knowing that from here on, it’s all taken care of like an all expenses paid trip.
It’s not ending things but knowing that they’re finally about to begin!
It’s that moment when you don’t throw the reigns away but hand them over to an experienced driver that understands your command, knows where you wish to go and will take you there through the best route while you can finally close your eyes in the backseat!
So this week I encourage all my friends to try this divine switch and see how it brings calm and relaxation to you!
Your mantra,
I don’t give up. I NEVER give up. I simply, surrender.

Arigato, Uketamo!
Think of one thing that really got to you today/ yesterday or something that made you work on all cylinders. Basically anything that had to stressed out.
Just bring it to the forefront of your mind.
And now let this realisation sink in – this stress you’re feeling right now? It’s nothing but Resistance.
Resistance to what is and what could be.
Notice it in your body right now. The clenched teeth, the furrowed eyebrows, the squinting eyes, the fidgeting foot, the tight chest, the slouched back and the raised shoulders.
Stress is the most normal and expected response to any ‘unwanted’ situation. And it’s okay that you’re stressed. It really is.
But. What you resist, persists.
So today I want to ask you if you ever worry about –
☀️ Whether the sun will rise / set today?
❄️ Whether the seasons will change or not? Whether the moon and all the planets will move in their orbits or not?
🌏 Whether gravity will be able to hold things in place or not?
Have you? No right ?
You’ve trusted it upon the creator of all those things and phenomenon.
I want to remind you today that the same creator is also your creator. And if it has not missed a single beat since the beginning of time then it for sure hasn’t made any mistakes in designing every single detail of your life.
So in essence.
YOU ARE EXACTLY WHERE YOU NEED TO BE RIGHT NOW. And EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING EXACTLY THE WAY IT’S SUPPOSED TO.
Why would you then resist anything at all?
All you need to do then – is ALLOW.
Allow things to move as they will and not be the obstacle in your own path!
Remember, life is happening for you. Not to you!
Was that a sigh I just heard? 😇
Can you feel all the knots being undone in your body?
Good!
There’s 2 Japanese words I keep on my desk which the monks have been using for centuries.
Arigato (meaning Thank you)
Uketamo (meaning I Accept)
I hope that as you go through your day after each stressful moment you’ll say Uketamo and watch the stress dissolve!
If there’s nothing you can do about it, then there’s nothing you can do about it. Except. Say – Arigato, Uketamo (thank you, I accept!)🙏🏼

Feelings
Meeting your body for the first time!
How many of us have chronic pains in our body? Maybe a neck pain, migraine, a finger that pains and so on. You might’ve been to doctors and medical reports came clean. Now you have no option but to survive using exercises, medicines that you must continue for life. All these are simply ways of treating the symptoms and not the cause. Well you can’t be blamed because you had no idea what the cause is.
Until today.
Over the years in our innocence to survive so many of us have desensitised ourselves to our feelings numbing them/ distracting from them. We never listened to these feelings, thus never investigated and processed them.
These unprocessed feelings didn’t just disappear. They just got buried. Deep within your tissues, your organs, your nerves. Over the years they just kept building up until one day when there was no place for them to go and they turned into pain. Not to hurt you, but to call your attention! (Remember, the body uses feelings/sensations as a way to communicate with you).
That’s how diseases are formed in the body. They are thus just a symptom asking for your attention. So your medicines are simply attacking the symptom and not the cause.
There is a LOT of information out there about which body part stores which emotions and creates which diseases. I am more than happy to elaborate on that (let me know on the group 😀)
I am not here to ask you to stop your medical treatments/ medicines/ whatever you’re doing to help yourself. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I am only here to ask you to start helping those treatments work 10x faster.
How?
Today, sit down and scan your body for areas which feel uncomfortable. doesn’t need to be something huge, even a small tightness is enough. Breathe into it and then ask. Gently and Lovingly, ask what it wants to tell you. Be patient and compassionate and continue to breathe.
Several things may happen – you may start feeling overwhelmed with a rush of emotions/ your body may start shaking/ you may start crying/ you may start seeing images/ old painful memories and so on. You might also feel NOTHING at all.
EVERYTHING is alright. All of this is simply a dam being opened and finally allowed to flow. It’s decades of boxed up things that have been ignored. If you felt nothing it means you’ve numbed yourself to feeling and that’s okay. Be patient and wait on it.
Let it all come out. VALIDATE everything. ACCEPT everything. BE OPEN to everything.
I promise you it will stop at one point when the body is done releasing and the moment it does you will FEEL SO RELIEVED and FEEL literally physically LIGHTER!
That’s it. That’s all you have to do.
It doesn’t have to be a 1000 step process. Just you and your body finally meeting after all these years! From personal experience I can say that it is absolutely beautiful – scary in that moment but absolutely worth it!
We shall be practising this together in TSK Safety Circle too!
This practise has been a game changer for me. I hope it helps you. Please do share your experience with me and do not hesitate to ask if something feels off.

Do you know that your body is talking to you?
We’re told to make decisions using the mind and not the heart.
My question – Why do our Emotional System and our Mental System have to work separately one at a time? Why do we have to choose between the heart and the mind? Is there a law that says we can only use one or the other for decision making and functioning?
No right?
I want to invite you to open up to the idea of using BOTH your mind and your heart together at the same time from now on! These are two very sophisticated systems that humans are gifted with and it would be a total waste of existence if we were to leave out anyone to function and thrive!
Okay so.
THOUGHTS are the language of the BRAIN
FEELINGS are the language of the BODY
When we think a thought, it produces an emotion and a corresponding feeling in our physical body. Feelings are the body’s way of communicating with us.
Our task now is to be “sensitive” and “aware” to the feelings generated in the body whenever you think a thought.
Simple E.g.
You’re sitting across from someone and talking to them, it’s been only 15mins but you suddenly notice a headache. This is your body telling you that this conversation isn’t serving you. You might be thinking that they’re a good friend/ you would benefit by being here but your head is aching. You might ordinarily push through it and stay there thinking that they will be hurt/ it will look bad etc.
The issue we face and why we run away from feelings is because we don’t know what it’s trying to say. A headache could mean ANYTHING. It could be fear/sadness/jealousy etc.
To do today:
Whenever you get 5-7 mins throughout the day to sit quietly, explore what different emotions feel like in your body. As you get acquainted to your different sensations you will know exactly what you’re being told and thus you will know what to do.
Eg. You may realise that headache for you means feeling drained. Then you can immediately take steps to come out of the situation and notice if the headache reduces.
We run away from feelings because we don’t know what they’re saying. Through this now you don’t have to run away from your feelings but in fact use them to your benefit!
Xx N.A. ✨
Are FEELINGS & EMOTIONS the same?
So many of us have been taught from a very young age that
“feelings and emotions are for the weak“
“good decisions are always made from the mind and never with feelings”
“feelings are just warm & mushy useless things“.
We protest against our emotions all the time! Why?
a. because we don’t know what they are
b. because we have no idea what’s going to come up if we listen to them
c. because we really don’t have the time and the energy to deal with whatever is down there
But have you ever wondered that if our emotions and feelings are that useless then why would evolution still care to keep it around?
There must be some purpose it is serving!
And it does!
But first a very important distinction: Feelings & Emotions are not one and the same.
Emotions: Our reactions to things we experience. Eg. Anger, Joy, Sadness, Fear, Worry, etc
Feelings: A means of experiencing those emotions in our physical body. Eg. Anger could feel like steam arising from your head/ entire body, fear could feel like a racing heartbeat, sadness could feel like ache. Feelings are the way you get to know that you are experiencing something. They are the physical sensations you get in your body – like hot/ cold/ sweaty/ pain etc.
So now imagine if…
a. you were to completely remove the feeling system from your body: Someone could stab you and wouldn’t feel the pain! You would bleed out and die without even being prompted (via pain) to scream for help!
b. you deleted emotions from your system: Someone would slap you and you wouldn’t get angry and know that you needed to stop them! You would eat your favourite cake and not experience any joy or feel any pleasure at all!
If you really sit and think, our feelings and emotions are what help us really experience life!
To Do Today:
No specific tasks! Just find an appreciation for your Emotions and Feelings and how much you’re actually using them!
STOP WRITING OFF YOUR EMOTIONS/ FEELINGS!

Why are feelings so important?
Did you know that we all live in an Electro Magnetic field ?
It’s invisible to the naked eye but it governs our entire life.
Our thoughts carry an electrical charge and Our feelings carry a magnetic charge.
So when we think of something we want we’re sending electrical signals from our brain.
And when we think of that thing with strong, deeply felt feelings, we send magnetic signals from our heart.
Thoughts send the signal out, feelings draw the goal in.
That is why feelings are SO IMPORTANT.
Without feelings you’re just sending signals while having nothing to receive from.
Feelings are key to bringing things to life !
To do today:
Sit down with whatever your goals are, then FEEL what it would feel like to have that goal. If you became a millionaire today, what would you feel like ? Imagine that, visualise that and immerse yourself in that! The longer you stay there the better! This is what will help activate the magnet with which you attract the right people, circumstances, and ideas that will make you a millionaire.
And as you go about your day and the current reality hits you in the face and you lose those feelings (which is very normal), all you have to do is go back there! All you have to do is close your eyes and feel it all over again!
Xx N.A. ✨
What’s the Key?
We think 1000s of thoughts in a day and you must wonder that if thoughts are what create things then why don’t all of your thoughts turn into things ?
Well the journey from thought becoming a thing has another step in the middle. Feelings.
Not every seed of thought takes root, only the ones that you “feel” strongly about do so.
Feelings are the key.
You want abundance, you’ve written manifestation notes, you’ve prayed in every temple to every God possible, you’ve done all the rituals right and you still don’t get the abundance.
Wonder why?
Because while you “thought” abundance, you “felt” lack.
So all those seeds you planted died.
So today,
Take a note of all the areas of life that are not really working the way you want them to. Then take a note of what feelings you carry about each of those areas/ goals. Are your thoughts and the feelings carry about them in sync? There’s two good news if you are able to do this exercise with honesty:
a. You recognised the problem. And problem recognised is half the solution.
b. Feelings aren’t permanent. You can work on changing them!
So I encourage you to try this and try it with complete honesty – this isn’t something you need to show to anyone. This is just for you to look at. The more honest you are, the better and quicker you get to turn things around!
Remember you are the almighty power in your world.

Thoughts
The Attention Tool
So the first that I would want to start with is the realisation of how powerful each and every single one of you is.
Consider 2 seeds. One of tomato, another of pepper.
Now consider which seed is going to grow into a proper plant and give the vegetable?
The one that you nurture and water well.
Just like that. Each seed is a thought. And the water is the attention we pay to that thought.
And thought is the very starting point of every single thing around. Even YOU were once just a thought!
ENERGY FLOWS WHERE ATTENTION GOES, and ENERGY IS THE CURRENCY OF THE UNIVERSE.
You can (and you already are doing it) buy things into your life experience with this very simple tool called attention.
Every time you look at a flower/ sweet Instagram post and appreciate it, you feel good I.e. you paid attention to the sweetness of it and you started feeling it yourself.
So starting today can each of us take control of what we pay our attention to??
This is what we’re going to do:
Each time we come across a thing/ a person / a visual that disturbs our equilibrium. We are going to mentally say CUT CUT CUT with the intention to break connection and remove attention from it.
This will help to immediately disengage and stop it from flowing into your whole day.
And the opposite is true too. Each time you come across something that brings joy, don’t forget to pay some extra attention to it and buy its goodness into your experience!

Thought Inventory
Take a look at everything around you. How did the table become a table? Someone thought about it. That they want to build a table, what it should like etc. Same for everything else.
Thoughts are the starting point of all creation. Out of the ~70k thoughts an average human thinks, did you know that 95% are the same repeated ones and only 5% are new ?
So if thoughts are the starting points and we think the same thoughts most of the time then how can we expect to make tangible changes in our lives / achieve what we want? That 95% is usually coming from being on auto pilot – thoughts which are like background commentary and have no off switch. So much so that now we’re used to it and are completely oblivious to it.
The first step to taking that control back is – by bringing awareness.
Just like if you wanted to clear away an old attic / garage you would go there and do an inventory of what is there – just listing things down. Then later you would think about what to sell/ donate/discard.
Similarly the first step to stepping out of auto pilot is by taking stock of what thoughts have been running for weeks / months / even decades going unnoticed.
We will next learn about a very cool way to do thought inventory (Check out the byte just below: Morning Pages)!
For now I remind everyone,
- to keep using your attention (the energy currency) wisely
- in your idle moment see if you can spot a thought which you think everyday put them down somewhere, in a diary, a post it, notes app on your phone! It could be as simple as ‘I need coffee’ / ‘I need to pay my wifi bill’. Just write it and keep it somewhere – trust me it’s going to be fun to look back on!

Morning Pages
I really hope you tried the Thought Inventory experiment from the byte above. If you didn’t please do try it now!
As promised, I want to now introduce everyone to a really effective way of doing Thought Inventory:
Morning Pages
This is the brainchild of Julia Cameron (very famous American author, playwright, artist, filmmaker, poet and many other things )
What’s Morning Pages?
Every morning, you need to write 3 full pages.
Write what?
Whatever comes to mind. It could be the most random string of thoughts with no possible connection. Just write. One after the other.
Eg: I am tired. I wonder what I should wear today? The girl standing at the fax machines yesterday was wearing cute outfit! I want coffee! I don’t want to work today. I had to order groceries yesterday. I think I left my charger at my desk yesterday.
And so on….
It doesn’t have to make any sense at all.
Just 3 pages. Write. Anywhere you want. Anytime you want. In fact you can do it right now. Just make sure to do it everyday or most days of the week if possible.
First thing in the morning, by hand in your diary is what Julia prescribed.
I am not going to say what will happen if you do it, coz I want to hear actual experiences in the group and in our upcoming virtual meet on Saturday!🫰🏼

Are you the thought?
So in all of the above bytes (‘The Attention Tool‘, ‘Thought Inventory‘, ‘Morning Pages‘ we have understood a few things about thoughts – what are they, which thoughts are we thinking..
Now we’re going to see if we can actually “control” them.
But first it is very important to make a very very clear distinction –
Are you the thought OR Are you the one thinking the thought?
You see whenever we speak, we are always sharing our thoughts as opinions/ stances and we become quite protective of them. As in, when someone opposes them we feel irritated/ angry / the need to defend.
We think, HOW COULD THEY?
This happens because we feel if the person has rejected our thought they have essentially rejected us. And hence the defensiveness. You feel compelled to protect it like you would your loved one.
But imagine. If you could fully realise in each moment, that you are NOT your thoughts. You’re just the one thinking them! So they are essentially just thoughts.
What happens then?
You free yourself from the need to spend energy trying to defend all your stances/ opinions !
You realise that if you’re not the thought then that means you’re the thinker who can change that thought immediately and think something else right now!
You would find yourself open up to other possibilities and to listening to what others have to say and might even find sense in what they’re saying!
To do today:
Each time you find yourself getting too invested in a conversation where everyone is opposing what you’re saying and you’re just losing all your fuel trying to stay intact – take one step back in your head and think:
- How much of my attention does this need? If it’s just a random conversation you could immediately CUT CUT CUT and sit back and observe what others are saying
- Am I the points I’m making or am I the one simply stating them ? (If you’re simply stating them, then everyone has the right to disagree and it doesn’t have to say anything about who you are)
I hope now you know whether you can/can’t control your thoughts! If you’re in doubt, DO NOT HESITATE and ask on TSK TALK/ TSK Weekly Catchup! 🙂
So,
Your Mantra for the day:
I’m not my thoughts, I’m just the one thinking them!

Positive & Negative Thoughts
If I tell you to NOT think of a white elephant. You cannot help but think of a white elephant – even though I specifically asked not to do it and even though you didn’t have a white elephant anywhere on your mind before this!
So many times in life we get overwhelmed by our thoughts. “I am going to fail. This isn’t gonna work. I don’t think they’ll like my work“
The way out of a negative loop isn’t by not thinking anymore negative thoughts, but replacing it with a different one.
Remember? You’re not the thought but the thinker so you have the power to think whatever you want !
So in our eg. we replace
“I am going to fail” with “What if I succeed?”
“This isn’t gonna work” with “What if it works?”
The seed which gets your attention grows. So with this switch you’re now watering the positive seed.
Also the thing to realise about negative and positive is this:
Negative feels negative because it has a finality to it. A sense of decision and of LIMITING the outcome.
Positive feels positive because it has the energy of possibility in it. The sense that anything could happen – UNLIMITEDNESS.
We humans are actually anything but limited and hence our resonance lies always with the feeling of unlimited, thus we always gravitate towards positivity.
So really. Positive and negative are just energies.
Negative doesn’t mean BAD.
Positive doesn’t mean GOOD.
I hope today you will replace the limited with the unlimited!
